We had a party of 20 or so for a wedding reception, and it was a delightful experience. Highly recommend. Well taken care of and great entrees.

Bartender/server could not have been better. Flatbread good. Caesar salad abysmal. Chopped romaine with next to no cheese and no flavor. Dressing was from a bottle of tasteless variety, not a hint of garlic or lemon. Chicken on top obviously reheated from frozen pre-made. Certainly not equal to $18 price.

My fiancé & I passed this and said we definitely have to go try sometime & we are so glad we did! It's not at all what you would expect from the outside! It's so nice inside, the food is outstanding! Fascinating story of the history of the building on the back of the menu's be sure to read it! We met the chef as he was leaving for the night when he was done his shift very nice guy complimented him on his talents all while we were getting the grand tour from the host b/c we asked more about the history and seeing more of the place they have a banquet room out back over looking the property. The bar is stunning old world elegance. Just overall great experience. Bill was our server and he did an excellent job we were very pleased with the whole experience everyone was so welcoming and eager to share what they knew of the history of the building. We hope you enjoy it as much as we did!Parking: Plenty of parking on either side of the building.

Emily's was on our list of places to try so we made reservations for Valentine's Day. The building reminds me of a quaint, old farmhouse. The decor was a little outdated, but charming nonetheless. Our server was lovely and attentive. I had the salmon special. It tasted good, but the salmon was a tad overcooked for my liking. My husband had the prime rib. He asked for medium and unfortunately, it came out rare to med rare. He made due and opted not to send it back to the kitchen. For what it's worth, it was a bit pricey. But, overall, not a terrible experience. We plan to go back and try out the regular menu at some point.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Carl the old man, is extremely rude to paying guests. The food is mediocre if that. Shrimp Scampi was so watery and had no flavor to it. Chicken Parm- again, zero flavor tonight. I ordered ONE extra dirty martini with no vermouth. When I got the drink, it had vermouth and no olive juice in it. Had to ask for olive juice and they insisted there was no vermouth. Waitress started the bartender didn't know how to make it. Then when I received my bill- for a party of 3, 20% gratuities were already added. Weird but ok. But- my terrible ONE martini cost me $19.00 plus an extra $2 for having it made with Tito's. When I asked the waitress why a martini cost me $21.00, she said well you got two. I said no, I ordered one. She said the owners policy is that when you order a martini, you actually get two because they give you the shaker of what was left! That is insane. First of all, i didn't want an entire shaker of vodka. I wanted one simple martini. They refused to fix the bill. So, my advice, don't order a martini there. They don't know how to make them and you will pay for two even if you order one. Bathroom didn't have any hand soap or towels to dry hands off with. Want fine dining? Go down the road to Dan's at Green Hills.

My family has been customers of Emily's for 20+ years. The service and food have always been wonderful, so much that we have become friends with the owner who treats us like family. We had a beautiful private event last evening and the food, and atmosphere on the heated deck was beautiful. Emily's went above and beyond to treat our group with multiple servers and excellent service. Be aware - the review written by Madelyn listed above has been written by a minor who was attending this same event - this was her father's celebration. Apparently, her free dinner did not please her and she was bored by being at a grown-up event so felt the need to write a 1-star review. This is the reason that children were not invited to this private event. I urge anyone to visit Emily's for a great dining experience from a well-traveled LOCAL customer who has been going there regularly for many years. We are happy to have a place like Emily's here in Berks!

Great please service is alittle so but don't think it's the servers fault. Order app to make up the wait. Don't go here if your one of those guys that need service now. We were fine little slow but so friendly and nice to hang with a group to talk and enjoy dinner they don't rush you out the door. Little pricey but we liked it. Not an everyday place for the price

Had to sit next to ice cold wall and eat with my coat around my lower half completely. Arrived early, reservations were behind at least half an hour (par for the course) so got a table, then sat looking at menu for 30 minutes, although did get beverages from bar staff. 3rd time is usually the charm but this wasn't.Vegetarian options: I believe I saw 2 or maybe 3 items only.

Better than it should be (compliment). Out of the way, roadside restaurant you could probably pass a million times. Old house converted. Live soft music. I’m guessing a local favorite. Food borders on upscale. Wild mushroom ravioli was excellent. Drinks were professionally made. Not cheap $. Very good for this neck of woods.
