“A Fantastic 5-Star Find – Well Worth the Drive!

We traveled 45 minutes for our first visit to Lucchesi’s to celebrate a birthday dinner, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we walked in, we could feel the charm and warmth of this local favorite. The restaurant has a nostalgic, white tablecloth atmosphere that strikes the perfect balance between upscale and comfortable. It’s clearly a go-to spot for special occasions, another table was celebrating as well, which added a festive touch to the evening.

We started with the roasted peppers and cheese appetizer, which was a delicious and flavorful way to kick off the meal. For our entrées, we chose the Lobster Romano and the Spots, both were fantastic, prepared with care, and absolutely packed with flavor.

Each dinner came with a fresh salad topped with house made dressing and blue cheese, which was simple yet really well done and delicious. For our sides, we selected the pasta with their homemade red sauce. Just a heads up: the sauce is pretty sweet, but as someone who typically doesn’t go for sweet red sauces, I have to admit this one was an exception. It was rich, smooth, and surprisingly delicious.

The menu isn’t overly large, but we found that to be a strength. It’s thoughtfully put together, focusing on high quality, well executed dishes instead of an overwhelming number of choices.

Important tip: Lucchesi’s is only open Thursday through Saturday from 5 PM to 9 PM, so be sure to make a reservation. With limited hours and high demand, it’s a smart move to book ahead.

“I had my mother's celebration of life at La Eda's and it was perfect. Karla was so easy to work with. Had a personalized menu for guests to choose from. “This place is so good it should be illegal. The nigiri, sushi rolls, sushi sandwich, and sushi burrito are all huge. That sushi burrito with the mayo and soy sauce is my obsession. I guarantee you you’ll be dreaming about that burrito for months. The milkshakes… dear god the milkshakes are some of the best milkshakes you will get anywhere around here. The texture and the taste are just perfection. The price may seem a bit high but honestly the size, quality, and flavor of the food is worth it. It’s more worth it to buy Roll and Scoop than to buy premade sushi at Giant/Kroger or to go to any other restaurant.”

“Stopped here on our way through Monongehela. My husband had the cheese burger and d fries and really enjoyed it. I cannot eat gluten and very rarely find a place that can accommodate me. I had kolbassi with no bun, coleslaw, and they cooked my fries in a separate fryer. Everything was very good!”

She takes the time with each person in.a one on one consultation for a small.fee, which is applicable to the first purchase. I was impressed with my 'bill' when I saw how many supplements and magnesium lotion I was purchasing. And by the way, the magnesium lotion is a life saver for pain. It works faster than any otc oral thing that isn't good for you anyway. My mother had relief in between 10-15 minutes with a three day old ache in her back.”
