Giant Eagle Bakery

Ordered a cake for my daughters birthday. The cake was very sloppy in shape and in decoration. The handwriting looked to be done by a second grader that had just learned how to write in cursive. Upon pick up I informed them the name was spelled wrong, despite going over the spelling several times on the phone call, in which they blamed the mistake on the sloppy handwriting on the order form( which was fitting) however they corrected it but sloppily icing over the wrong spelling to add the new spelling which was very obvious.

I went in to get a cake for my nephew, and the woman at the bakery went above and beyond. She wrote so beautifully on the cake, asked me questions about him and decorated with a graduation cap and diploma. It was very thoughtful and nice to do since I asked without ordering beforehand. I recommend!

The hot foods section is a train wreck. there's never any food available and when it is, u have to wait for someone to help u. I ordered a sub, & the emplyee made it then let it sat there for 5 minutes while she went in the cooler to get more supplies. When she returned, I asked her to remake it since flys were crawling all over it and she gave me an attitude. Do NOT recommend this place at all. Bring Judy back!

Fresh donuts everyday they are shrinking in size...my favorite apple fritter...Prices haven't gone down just the size of donuts.

Small grocery store. Does not carry some things that it should.

I went there yesterday and had attempted to use 3 coupons- 2 were same but had i had the products to cover and another coupon that I had the product to cover. The cashier stated that their policy was only 1 coupon per order. She proceeded to get the manager who agreed but did not show me the policy when I asked. Very rude, so I went to the next closest giant eagle and they were happy to take my 3 coupons. Very rude and non-courteous.

I was pleased with the chicken until I started cleaning up. I’m not quite sure what some of the pieces were! They looked like bits and pieces not a breast thighs leg or wing. And wouldn’t it be better to take the feathers off?!? Honestly you couldn’t have missed these!

Their pineapple upside down cake is the closest to what my mom made..
