I feel like we went to a different restaurant than the other reviewers. The brisket sandwich was inedible...all fat and gristle. The pulled pork sandwich was okay, but needed additional BBQ sauce.

other than them being out of a majority of stuff that I ordered and from what I heard from surrounding talk from other customers I would say some major improvements need to be made as far as customer service and training go.

I was here for dinner with my brother and we had the sausage, ribs and crispy chicken plate. Everything was delicious.

You guys are so trifling for sitting there and telling that young boy to hang up on my 60 year old mother because YOU did a piss poor job at getting an order correct. You’re lucky she went down there and not me. I’d rather pay $100 for real barbecue than $100 for barbecue made by someone who looks strung out.

Wow. What happened to this place? They were out of most meals. And they were out of dressing, not just ranch, ALL salad dressing. Food was terrible. Couldn’t eat it. Couldn’t even take it home. We always spoke highly of Hogfathers and recommended it to everyone. Those days are over. Won’t be going back.

The owner is leaving the restaurant with so many missing options because of his food trailers, it is a shame. The poor waitress had to explain why they couldn't make most of what we wanted. It wasn't her fault, nor the cooking staff. The food we were served was very good. I fear the future of this place if the owner doesn't fix some things and re-stock.

Went for lunch on a Friday - they were out of ribs, chicken, & pulled beef. We ordered the sausage sandwich and the brisket wrap. The sausage was pretty good, the brisket was really not worth eating, it was cold, without much flavor and tough (wrap would have been delicious without the meat, odd from a bbq place right?). Baked beans were VERY good, fries were good and the mac&cheese was decent but al dente.Service was excellent. Lunch was $40 with tip. Probably wont be back.Honestly, we enjoyed our lunch at the hot dog place down the road more for half the price.

The place is just as big a joke as it was when they first opened . Its a scam, the food sucks and most of all, they are schemers, no pricing makes sense, they never know how much youll get-they try selling grilled chicken for over 20 dollars a piece-a piece-not a whole chix breast-just some of one. Avoid this place, its all a scam and the food sucks. If you are looking for a good option go to Rowdys on 51

VERY AWESOME!!! Amazing food, would definitely recommend for anybody. Chrissy was ABSOLUTELY amazing, she was really friendly, and super fast. I got the ribs, and they were the best ribs I've had in a while. The pulled pork nachos were actually heaven sent I swear. If you are looking at reviews wondering if you should eat here, definitely do. Amazing service, food and overall just great. :)

Been here twice. Today the artichoke and spinach dip was just eeh. The fried chicken dinner was a nice portion but the mashed potatoes were not garlic mashed potatoes nor are they real potatoes.They were out of Mac and cheese and had no intention of making anymore until a phone order was trying to be placed and they stated the mac and cheese wouldn't be ready for another hour and a half.The person on the phone said they would call back to place an order to be able to get Mac and cheese.Luckily I used a gift card. Because if this was my hard money paying. I would have requested a refund on all of it.Have a little more available on my gift card. Maybe I will see if the ribs might be good at a later time.
