Caliente Pizza and Draft House

Went here with high hopes because how hyped up and how good it looked on their facebook page! My family and I were all disappointed it was the most average pizza I ever tried there was nothing special about it! Our waitress Laurie was one of the worst waitresses I’ve ever had she only checked on us one time after the food got delivered and got me a refill even though I needed the refill about 15 minutes before the food came! We were obviously done eating and she brought the box for the leftovers but she disappeared for about another 20 minutes before bringing us the check then had to wait another 10 minutes for her to bring my card back! This entire time the restaurant was damn near empty

Awesome Friendly staff! Easy to get help on mobile orders and they bring a great environment. Dana and McKee were awesome!

Everything was very good except one thing. If you get a pizza with one topping, you cannot get a topping on one half and a different topping on the other half. They consider it 2 toppings. Very disappointed. 1/2 plus 1/2 equals one.

We’ve eaten at Calientes and it is always good when we eat in store. Today was no different, tried a new pizza and it was amazing! The Detroit style Sensei. Mark was our server and while he said he’s not normally “on this side” he was phenomenal!

Catering guy was very accommodating. I needed an early pickup before they open and he said he would make it work for us.

This was absolutely terrible dining experience via the food. Not sure what others have experienced but my family hated it. The pizzas were a wreck and had to be remade by the manager. We were told they have all new cooks. We had leftovers and the boxes they brought us had ants in them. Definitely will not be going back.

I ordered pick up from here on a whim, had a very long day and this seemed convenient. Traveling from Penn Hills to Mckeesport. My Husband was ranting about this place his job a few minutes up the way ordered here for lunch he loved it.

As I said on the way we picked up I ordered on line we live close enough. I walked in the servers were gathered in a corner and several people were walking in and out the kitchen. No one said a word to me. It was also maybe a good handful of people sitting in there. I went to the pick up station where that lady was very very nice and helpful and patient and that’s the only good thing about the experience.

Our pizza was to have just came out it was warm, was not cut all the way through, it looked good but I was not impressed. The sauce was okay the toppings mediocre, just a tough choice when you’re really looking forward to something. Now crust wise I didn’t pay attention that’s on me because that certainly wasn’t what I wanted. But we absolutely cut and broiled the pizza at home.

Ranch was also good but that’s it I don’t know if this would be worth another try. We spent $26.75 for this one pizza…

Another delicious experience and good beer brewed by them.

Decided to give caliente a try to find out it is overpriced pizza and and nothing special at all. I will continue to order from my local shops for better taste and half the price. I ordered the pizza with peppers, hot honey and sausage and it was still bland. I wanted to try after seeing the ads. But one and done for me. Do not recommend and I worked at a pizza shop for years.
