Dad’s Pub & Grub in Monroeville! Was out at Monroeville Mall with a friend and we were looking for some good food and stumbled upon this gem!! Seen it had good reviews and the food looked awesome and the reviews/pics definitely did NOT disappoint. Started out with chicken tenders with a dry rub & ranch for dipping. Then for our meals I got a Cuban & my friend got the mushroom Swiss burger, both with fresh cut fries. The Cuban was amazing!! And one of the biggest I’ve ever had. I really liked the mustard sauce. The fresh cut fries were delicious too. The mushroom Swiss burger was delicious and absolutely giant for the price of $11!!!!! (I believe the Cuban was also $11) And that price INCLUDES the fries. We also split a side of Mac and cheese which was pretty good! Had a nice flavor and the sauce was nice & creamy. I also had a delicious cocktail but can’t remember the name. It had Tanqueray gin, lavender/chamomile infused simple syrup & fresh lemon juice. Deliciousness all around and such good prices!! 5 stars 10/10 highly recommend!!

Food = damn good, except for their ranch dressing. Wonder if we had a bad batch bc it literally tastes rancid. Service is friendly and fast once you actually get a table. There was quite a long wait for it being a late Sunday afternoon. Also this place has a surprising amount of character for a building that obviously used to be a pizza hut.

Visiting from out of town but sad to say didn’t meet my expectations.Sat immediately and friendly staff.Wide range of items on menuServer made suggestions for dinnerWedding soup was served barely warm, needed seasoningBrisket sandwich was opposite and very salty. Maybe just the sauce was not my taste.Got beer battered fries and they were very processed tasting, not a natural or potato flavor at all.Did get funnel cake to go and that was very good to enjoy at hotel.Sorry I didn’t have the great food everyone raves about.

A long wait-list but worth it! I had the Yinzer Burger and Fries which was superb and I eat a lot of burgers. Their craft selection is also very good and they have a huge selection in the coolers. Our waitress was on point and friendly. Will come back.

I come here all the time. Today I didn't want to eat too much. So i asked for a kids quesadilla. I was told they couldn't give it to me unless i was under 12. I think a senior menu should also be available OR something equivalent to smaller portions. I ordered just the mac. Despite being in my late 20s I cant stuff myself anymore. ?Also just want to state this is the second time I came without "Mom" (owner) here, and probably the last. I just really feel taken care of better when she is here. She knows exactly what I want.

If you've been tirelessly searching for a place where the food doesn’t just meet expectations but catapults them into the stratosphere, where the beer selection is as vast as the universe itself, and the service so spectacular it deserves its own standing ovation, then let me introduce you to Dad's Pub & Grub - a culinary utopia!Diving into the food, it's an understatement to say it's "amazingly good." That’s like saying the Grand Canyon is a nice ditch. The kitchen here is where magic happens, and every dish that comes out is a masterpiece. The flavors are so rich and satisfying, you'll want to write thank you letters to the chefs. The beer selection? Oh, it’s a journey - no, an odyssey. With a lineup that spans from time-honored classics to the most innovative craft beers, it’s a beer lover's paradise. The list is so comprehensive, you’ll feel like you’re embarking on a quest to discover the holy grail of hops. And then there’s the service - the heart and soul of Dad’s Pub & Grub. The staff are the kind of wonderful that makes you feel right at home, blending professionalism with genuine warmth. They’re the unsung heroes who elevate your dining experience from great to unforgettable. Their dedication is the cherry on top of an already spectacular visit. In conclusion, Dad’s Pub & Grub is more than just a pub; it's a place where culinary dreams come true, where the beer flows like a river of joy, and where every visit feels like a celebration. If I could rate it higher than 5 stars, I’d create a new scale just for them. Missing out on Dad’s is like missing out on a major life milestone. So, what are you waiting for? Your taste buds deserve this adventure!

If I could give a zero star I would. I called for reservation for 8-10 ppl on a Saturday for a Monday at 1pm. I was told no reservations but it wouldn't be a problem. We arrive and were rudely told we could have no more than 8ppl at a table. They gave us 2 tables for 6ppl, this was not acceptable. Then with the biggest attitude the server gave us a table for 8, threw the menus around the table then again said we could not have more than 8ppl. The 9th person came so we put an extra chair, which was not in the way or anything. The server then storms over again saying YOU CANNOT HAVE MORE THAN 8PPL at the table. This is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, I have worked in restaurants for 30yrs. This is when we got up & left, went down the street to Max & Ermas, where they happily accommodated us. The server lost out on probably a $50-$60 dollar tip because we are all former servers/bartenders. And the restaurant also lost out on business that day and future business because we will never come back. I called & spoke to the manager Macy who was very nice. She said the owner would call me & 5 days later that has not happened. I delayed writing a review until I spoke with the owner but it's obvious he doesn't care. Small business is struggling & his employees caused us to go support a chain restaurant very unfortunate

Great casual place with great food, nice beer selection (although I'm not a big fan of all those IPAs), and responsive and courteous staff. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area1
