This place’s eggplant parmigiana is to die for. I spent many birthdays here. I have since moved from Pittsburgh but have been meaning to stop by. I can recall the linguine and clams being really good, too. It’s old school Italian. Good sized portions, fresh bread, and pleasant atmosphere/ambience.Parking: For some reason, people go to the bar and not to the restaurant, so there’s plenty of parking off to the side of the building.

Thought we would try this restaurant. My sister raves about,and she makes Holiday reservations here. Upon entering we were greeted with "Do you have reservations"?. Not hello, welcome in. This is unwelcoming and off putting. It truly makes a customer feel uncomfortable, unwanted, and unwelcome. We of course did not have a reservation in the empty restaurant. So we said no, and asked do we need one. The waitress said no, but they are recommended. Ugh! Then put a sign on the door, we aren't made to feel like idiots in your empty restaurant. Only 2 tables had reserved on them. It was 7 pm. You close at 10pm on a Saturday. As we waited for one of the 7 empty tables, another waitress approached us with the same speech. " DO YOU HAVE A RESERVATION " NOT A HELLO.So this is standard practice. Not a greeting. We were seated, but felt uncomfortable. Our waiter came over immediately. No time to look at the menu. Felt rushed, so we asked for time. We truly felt like we were bothering these people. Needless to say, not a great dining experience. Bread was delivered when our appetizer came. I would not recommend the zucchini. The waiter did keep the drinks filled. The restaurant was pretty empty,however the kitchen was slow. The waitress who was caring for the table below us, offered her table, bread,salads etc for the delay while we just sat there. The food was definitely sub par. We won't be back.

The worst place I have ever been to. The so called bartender was the most unfriendly lady (?) I have ever met. She was rude and totally ignored me and the other people in my party. She had friends at the bar who she smoked with. Real high class person and place lol. Ended up going to another restaurant with top notch servers and food. Please don’t go here!!!!
