We went there last night. This of course is New Year’s Eve. We went around 6 p.m. We’ve heard about the place and wanted to try it because we live very close. We would love a nice Italian restaurant in our area. Our favorite is Hosto’s right now. We have visited Rudy and now we have visited your place. We were not at all by Shrodis. The food is good. The service is horrible your place is a complete opposite. I don’t think I’ve ever been more disappointed in what is supposed to be Italian food. The portions are unbelievably tiny. The pieces of bread are as big as a quarter and you get four of them and must ask for more the salad was minuscule I mean, probably about half a cup… It was supposed to be Caesar there was barely any dressing on it I felt that I could deal with that until the entrée can. I had ordered the crusted chicken over spaghetti. I usually get al dente. These noodles were thick and sticky. The sauce was super sweet and heavy on the oregano. I literally barely could eat very much of it at all. My husband ordered the eggplant Parmesan, two dry, barely cooked slices of eggplant that you could barely bite through on top of the thick sticky noodles and no sauce at all on that nor on top of the chicken I mean this is crazy. I will say that the crab bisque was absolutely excellent. I would’ve been happy just getting a big bowl of that and those tiny pieces of bread tipping all came to $100. Definitely definitely not worth it. The ambience is nice. Cute little old house but geez, your cook is he even Italian?

Salad was wonderful with great gorgonzola vinaigrette. Beans and greens appetizer was good.Allow plenty of time because the service is SLOW. We had reservations and were seated around 6:00. Appetizer was served at 6:46 and bread about 10 minutes later. Salads were served at 7:15. During all this wait time no explanation was offered. I hope they can improve their service.

We love everything about this place! Yes, it is a small and intimate setting and has very limited hours, but if you plan ahead, it is so wonderful! The food is great. We love the beans n greens appetizer, the kale salad, the baked fish and the lamb bolognese. Our friends also love it and have their favorite dishes as well. The bread is hot and fresh and the wedding soup is yummy. A hidden gem with a relaxing atmosphere as well. Highly recommend you try it!

I cannot review what looks to be a very interesting menu because we were turned away at 6:45 last night when the sign out front clearly stated that the kitchen closed at 8:00. The food looks promising on the website but the management clearly isn't serious enough about the business to keep regular hours. The start time listed on the board out front says they open at 12:00-ISH. Who does that?Caveat Emptor.

Portions we're tiny for pasta. No flavor. Meat in the pasta was almost non existent. We also got wedding soup, there wasn't any protein and the soup consisted of 2 carrot slices and. No flavor

Gia Visto is by far the best restaurant I've gotten food from in the Pittsburgh metro area! Food taste, portion, price are perfect, as well as the atmosphere and the employees are all so nice!

They make their own food, but the interior is meh.
