Thursday is $8.00 burger day. Drink was free, gluten free bun was $2.00. I had coleslaw instead of fries. Total bill came to $10.00! It was the best hamburger, the bun was delicious. Service was great.

Unfortunately, Max and Irma's is a dying chain. It's a shame, because they really do have good food. The chicken tortilla soup is out of this world. Went out of my way just to get that. Service was great, people were very friendly. Wish there were more of these around, including the one in the South hills in Peters Township.

First time back in 10 years. Food quality is didn't like. Laredo steak was tough and grizzly. French onion soap had well very few onions. The service was good. Atmosphere is very tired, memorabilia on the walls. Chairs were wobbly.
Food was okay. The tortilla soup is so good. We had the Cajun pasta and Laredo steak. Their sandwiches and salads are really good so I’d def prefer this as a lunch spot.
Their tortilla soup is the best comfort food! Filled with lots of tortilla strips. Burgers were cooked as we ordered them with the correct toppings.

My husband and I have loved coming here since we moved to Pittsburgh two years ago and we’re obsessed with the hangover burger.
They recently took it off the menu and when I asked if they could still make it the waitress said no.
The fries and pretzel sticks are great, but I came for the burger and wish you would bring it back!!

We were told a section was closed. We were sat in a corner, then watched a couple get seated, greeted and served drinks before we were even greeted. I have never been treated like that in there and have been coming there for years. I don’t believe I will be returning.
