I feel like this is fast-food barbecue. Nothing fancy. The food is decent, but not spectacular. The staff is nice and the dining area is clean and well maintained. Overall good, but not a place I’ll go out of my way to visit again.

It was easy to order online and pickup in person. I wish there was some type of tracking to know when your food was ready. When you show up for pickup, they show you everything you ordered before they package it. Might sound a little tedious if they’re too busy, but I love it after they caught themselves almost missing my favorite sauce! Pricing is reasonable for great barbecue.

I wanted brisket, it comes wet or lean, I asked for 50:50. Wasn't a problem at other locations and is a reasonable request. Maybe some training and not always sticking to the computer choices will deliver a better customer interaction. Settled for pulled pork. Wasn't bad. The rest of the customer service was excellent. Just coach the new kid.

Uncommon Sense

So far, so good. I have only been here a few times and havent gone crazy yet on a real deal visit here but I will say this: After two visits in 2 weeks-Everyone I have dealt with have been very very nice. I always make places aware it's my first time, especially if they're busy, so they know why I'm struggling and if they suggest anything and check their natural care to help me. I work in service and customer service. Both times had a very very young, new to the workforce type of employee (same both visits) on the register and both times, she was very welcoming, warm, kind, smiling and had absolutely no clue how to answer any of my questions but that's okay.....she was always smiling and asking for help from others, which she immediately received and everything is totally fine with that. Her learning that job while being able to mitigate those challenges at a new job, that's busy and things are moving quick? You got a good one, she just needs time. Not only that but the supporting cast was great to always happily help her along. One supporting member helped her answer me about the brownies and offered me one on the house as it was my first visit (previous visit, I hope she is allowed to do that and I'm not getting anyone lit up. It brought me back, fyi, so good on her for creating a customer FOR YOU on the fly. Young, small, petite with braces, caucasian)Both times, the sauce man was your charisma guy at the end. Slick. First visit dude chose for me, and chose well. Bought a bottle on 2nd visit. I will say that day, his speech felt like he was giving it for his 40th time that hour but looking at business- it may have been that 40th time. Still delivered it perfectly fine for me. Quickly explained the setup, asked me the kind of bbq sauce I like and offered Tulepo Honey Heat and KC Original.....bought THH tonight. The guy tonight was smooth like butta. It was his 40th time saying it but hes still saying it with his chest....management? Supervisor? Both guys are solid. Great care. I appreciate both stylesI will be back to judge everything else but I'll say, the collard greens are the best greens I've got in a long time. Like chicken broth with greens, not over salted. I seek out good greens when I can. One of, if not, my all time favorite sides. The moist brisket was good for point, fatty, brisket, small like always. Ribs were cooked well but I needed to go crazy with sauce and did not. The pulled chicken went very well with the Tepulo Honey Heat Sauce, good flavors overall.I'll have to get more and give you a bonus review from another account for just the meat or if you fail later. But I want to try some of the other food, mainly the meats so people can know honestly. Nor can I really say if it's worth it for the money. I'd have to try and break down the per person cost, etc. No thanks. It's certainly not cheap if you have big eyes for a meal but not so bad if you knew what you LOVED here and could stick to that. You know that....its bbq.Ill say the service has been phenomenal and if you're consistent in whatever you sell, I'll be back. If you make a bad whatever sandwich, always make it bad......dont just give me the best whatever sandwich I've ever had one day but only do that once in a while. That makes me waste my money, I wont know what I like.Pretty solid so far. Where do I pick up my key to the City? Since this review saved it, and all. Ah well...enjoy.Parking: It may be confusing the first time you enter and leave the lot/plaza type whatever your preferred way(s) but after that.....its very easy. More spots than you think.

Ordered takeout for my first visit to mission BBQ. The staff greeted me with a smile and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked thru the door. I got my food and a little info on the restaurant from the staff. The food was great and cost less than a fast food drive thru. I am already planning my next trip back

Tremendous meal. Barbecue sandwich on a brioche bun, two sides, potatoes, and baked beans and a drink $21. But the barbecue is so perfect. Go for the juicy meat. All the tables have a six packs of sauces.Delicious. Not an eat it every week place but treat yourself and check out the nostalgia adorning the dining room! ????

Excellent when ordering gluten free food. The staff is knowledgeable. This is one of my go to spots for pulled pork and baked beans with brisket! Just tell them when ordering and they take care of you!Dietary restrictions: If you’re gluten free ask for the gluten free menu. The staff is knowledgeable and will share this with the people packing your meal.
