Great food friendly place, everything I've had is good. Hooked on the Rudy Special Steak!! Love Sweet Onions & Mushrooms. It's a simple easy place to get a decent sammage. Don't let the 4 star confuse you, it's a hidden gem right here. 5 Star you'd be paying more for only atmosphere which the food more then makes up for!

A little pricey but so delicious the bread is great the sauces are homemade this is one of my favorite sub shops local or not.
Edit: I don't usually edit reviews but I'm gonna. I paid 19 for a mushroom cheesesteak with like 4 mushrooms on it. Whole mushroom cheesesteak mind you. Now I get that inflation is a little rough on us all but not only was this steak hoagie over priced it had almost a quarter inch that was just lettuce and bread no steak. I guess this is the future lol. This is the type of stuff that'll push people back to mcdonalds. I've been coming to rudys for over 15 years. It's a sad day for me.

So I happened to be in there, and left after hearing an interaction with another patron by a staff member. They were preparing her food and she must have been having a low blood sugar so she asked if she could get her soup because she was feeling sick while they took care of her sandwich. The staff member said to her, " your blood is low and I'm having a heart attack, we all got our problems, honey, your food is coming out soon." Never have I heard such a lack of empathy or concern. She could have handed her a cup with some coke or something to let her know she was heard and showed some human decency. I won't be back. The world is cruel, the person behind the counter does not need to make it worse. Booo!

I don't understand how this place is rated so well.. Ive heard great things from 2 coworkers. Today I went in for the first time and ordered an Italian hogie and cheese sticks.. tbh the cheese sticks were better than the sub. I'm very disappointed! After todays visit I don't think I'll be back. I gave the service a low rating because they mocked how I pronounced my name. I know I have a speech impediment thx for reminding me...Ty for the lousey experience.

Amazing food. One of the best italian hoagies ive had ever. Then i found out they had onion rings and i ordered some and thsoe are definitely the best onion rings ive ever had. I gave them them 3 stars for the atmosphere because its nothing fancy but who gives a shit when the food is that good.
Rudy's is my favorite sub joint so far. The Cheeseburger sub is always a go to for me and the staff is amazing.

Meh....not great, not terrible. There are definitely other sub shops that are much better; Triangle Bar and Grille being the very best. I've tried Rudy's twice now and it's alright I guess. The meats never seem real fresh, the veggies always seem like they've been sitting out for a couple days. Meh...just meh.
