The food is really good, the atmosphere is very nice, the service was a tiny bit slow but overall okay. My fries came with a bonus item - a metal screw.

Must try! Was worried based on some of the reviews but we were pleasantly surprised and will be back! Hub had the veggie sandwich and loved it. I had the classic steak sandwich and it was really good and the bread fresh. Mom got the Mac and cheese and the portion was huge!

Solid spot for pretty good bar and American food. Not sure why the reviews skew so negative. I got to try their classic white pizza.
It was a great size and a solid deal for a well made pizza. Nothing exceptional, but still, very good. They definitely did not shy away from the garlic or the pepper with this pizza, perhaps excessively so. But, it was very thin and very flavorful, so I donât mind.
Itâs well worth a spot if you want to watch a game and also enjoy some pies, wings, and other classic American items without breaking the bank.

I really wanted to like this place. The restaurant itself is very nice, the waitress (Morgan) was fantastic. However the food was really bad! The fish had 1/2â thick breading that wasnât cooked all the way through and was burnt on the outside. The coleslaw was inedible due to WAY too much pepper. So much it actually was gray in color. The fries were cold and heavily seasoned! I was glad the waitress was so great because you needed a lot to drink to swallow an overdose of sodium!
The menu looked fantastic!! I wanted to try everything and even ordered a cheesesteak just to try. If it wasnât smothered in salt and then more salt it wouldâve been good. Clearly the issue with this place is in the kitchen, not the front of the house.

We had an amazing time! First and foremost, The bartender Christian was absolutely one of the best bartenders I've ever had!! He's a very upbeat guy PLUS we didn't have to chase him down to order! I had the chicken Caesar salad and it was delicious! The components of the drinks are very well thought out! I ordered the Jalapeno Diablo, which of course is a spicy cocktail....just perfect!! I recommend this place 7 days a week!

The Coxcomb has excellent food, especially if you want to order items with some spice. The waitstaff has been consistently awesome, which leads me to the atmosphere..... One of the things the waitstaff has to do is to YELL very clearly. The acoustics of the restaurant in Monroeville are roughly equal to that of an indoor hotel swimming pool. This place needs sound batting in the worst way. Ownership- sound attenuation ceiling tiles are relatively cheap, easy to install, and don't interfere with fire suppression. Also, there are innumerable Wall Art items designed to display what you want and also beat down the decibels. Please do this, as I would very much like to continue dining at The Coxcomb, but I really can't stand the noise.

Medium burger cooked extremely well done. Thick cut bacon but so over cooked it was hard as a rock. Bored blonde waitress rolled her eyes when I mentioned it and walked away until check came then she perked up cause was tip time

Every dish I had here tasted strange. First time i was here I tried the Coxcomb chicken sandwich, which had some sugary, cinnamon spice flavor that did not taste right or like it belonged on a fried chicken sandwich. Second time I was here I had the cheesesteak. The meat in the cheesesteak was kind of sour and I could not finish it. I tried the cheeseburger the last time I was here and the burger meat had a stiff, harder texture with not much taste. The placeâs seems ok to have a drink at the bar but not much else.
