First time eating Indian food, it was excellent. I will be going back.
Never go to this place. Keep on dating 5 min food will be there but even after 45 min of order no food is provided.
Worst service.
Amazing southern Indian cuisine. So flavorful. Large menu. Friendly service.
I felt like I am at home, authentic South Indian food. Taste good and yummy, no wonder why Udupi is famous for its good food:)
We really enjoyed all the food we had, and the people who work there are kind and attentive. đ€©
I absolutely loved my visit to Udipi Hotel! The Bombay chutney was a standout â perfectly spiced, creamy, and bursting with flavor. It brought back authentic South Indian vibes. The ambience of the place was equally impressive â clean, calm, and welcoming. A great spot to enjoy delicious vegetarian food with a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Absolutely disappointed with my visit to Udipi Hotel in Pittsburgh. I ordered the Palak Paneer and couldnât even recognize what they servedâbland, mushy, and totally off from what any decent Palak Paneer should look and taste like. The chapati was stale, clearly not fresh and dry as cardboard. And to top it off, the potato curry that came with the rava dosa was also mushy and stale. Itâs unacceptable for a restaurant to serve food that tastes nothing like authentic Udipi food. This place has seriously gone downhill. Wonât be returning and definitely not recommending to anyone.
I recently experienced the ultimate and most authentic South Indian cuisine. They have consistently maintained their high standards for over 25 years. Truly 100% value for money. Keep up the excellent work!
Rasam was good. Mysore masala dosa was okay. Food came out quickly after ordering. Overall good experience. Prices are reasonable.
We visited Easter weekend after many years. Disappointed to see that the place is very unkempt. Dosaâs were ok, but the restrooms were very dirty. The main dining room floors were also unclean, the air had a moist, mould like smell. Will not be going there again.

The ambience wasnât great, and the service was good. The Paneer Makhni was disappointing (2/5), and the butter naan didnât taste good. The poori was too thick, and the curry that came with it was average. The Mysore Masala Dosa was alright( no peanut chutney is served here). The yogurt rice had a bit of a spicy kick but was actually tasty. One major downsideâ the restroom definitely needs a lot of attention.
Amazing. I drove past this place a million times and never considered stopping by. Although I'm not a vegan, I tried the black lentil dish, which was very flavorful and filling. This food will definitely have you second-guessing meat. I also received great customer service and enjoyed a quiet, clean setting.
We tried this restaurant again after 7 years. The quality has improved a lot! We liked idly, vada, sambhar and fitter coffee, but potato filling was bland in the Mysore masala dosa. The ambience was simple and clean and their service was hospitable. The total bill was $30, which was reasonable. Overall itâs a good place for South Indian food, especially after visiting SV temple at close proximity.
Good food at an affordable price. The food could be better and the service as well but it caters to a certain part of the southern part of India. The preparation caters to all types of customers which can be seen in the restaurant.
Good for Sunday brunch. Disappointed with the coffee
Delicious food and great service. I will definitely visit again!!
