Everything was delicious, but they no longer have the bbq shrimp ,so I had a Crab Hozel and the filet Oscar, way to much food for me but I cleaned my plate and had desert and coffee to be finish my glutoany

Me and my wife have eaten here twice and they were on top of everything didn't have to wait on refills on drinks food came out in timely manner. Food was excellent and fulfilling.

19 out of 20 times things here are good. Last night my NY strip steak was so tough I had to saw off pieces and left half uneaten. Also $7 martini with New Amsterdam is lousy.

We love coming to the wooden nickel... it's our special event go to place and hopes great memories for our family as we have been visiting there since our kids were young and this last visit was for my sons 29 birthday. Our server and hostess were so nice about making our experience special for him ( and mom and Dad). As always the food was amazing and the service was perfect. Thank you

We had to wait over 5 minutes for the hostess. The waitress took over 10 minutes to wait on us. After another 15 minutes, after the lights were flickering back and forth in the whole restaurant,and we still didn't have our drink, we walked out! We never saw our waitress again!

My frd recommended Wooden Nickel for my hubby's birthday dinner. I made reservations online then the numbers increased by 4. When I tried to add on it said to contact the restaurant. Ms Sue answered and was so kind and helpful. She was able to reserve tables for 13. A few days later I received an email stating my reservations were cancelled. I frantically called the restaurant because everyone confirmed they were attending the surprise dinner for my hubby. But, just like Ms.Sue, Ms.Debbie put on her cape and saved the day. She fixed the issue and was able to understand what I requested because Ms.Sue notes were thorough. When we arrived I was able to meet Ms.Debbie(she's so sweet in person). Paul was our host and he was kind, funny and didn't miss a step with us! Now for the food. It was soooo freaking gooood! No one complained at all. The chocolate martini was delicious 😋. I had 3 🤫😂. Wooden Nickel, you guys are so wonderful!!! Thank you so very much for helping me with making my hubby's birthday dinner a special one. We will be back for sure 😊. This hidden gem(because I never heard of them prior to my frd recommendation) is perfect!!! I can't thank you enough for your great, professional hospitality last night🥰

I was so disappointed. First of all I paid 15.00 for wrapped scallops which was mostly bacon and they only gave me 4 and they were so tiny. My friend got ate up by mosquitoes while in there and it had a musty smell when we walked in. There were shells in her stuffed shrimp that she got and she said it was gross. We should have paid with a wooden nickel. I will never go here again.
