Had lunch today at lock 29 with my beautiful wife and we really enjoyed it. I'd give it four and a half Stars instead of four. I never give anything five and you can't 4.5 in these reviews. I guess if I have to knock a star a half a star off it would be because as soon as we walked in I needed to use the restroom and guess what? There were no paper towels and the soap dispenser was literally taped to the wall. But the service was very good and the food was terrific. We had cocktails and both were very tasty. My wife had the fried chicken salad and I had the fried Ahi ahi salad. Both were excellent with stellar dressings. We will definitely be back! There were many things on the menu that we would both have liked to have eaten, so we're kind of going to be forced to head here again. :)

We had a birthday here today upstairs - Service was fast and quick + food was delicious (as always). We will definitely be coming back here! Staff members were incredible and accommodating to our needs😊❤️

Great Service! Our server was professional and fun, I ordered the Chicken parm fried mozzarella sandwich, was tasty and HUGE, 2 meals, my son had the Nashville Chicken cheesesteak which is the best thing we've tried there, it was a special so we are hoping it makes the regular menu!

The food at Lock 29 was disappointing. The Lucifer BBQ wings weren’t spicy in the slightest, and even the waitress agreed. The BBQ sauce was bland, the fries lacked seasoning, and the Nashville chicken sandwich was overpowered by oily bread. To top it off, the $3 house lager tasted watered down. Everything lacked flavor and quality. The only positive thing about this place was the excellent customer service.

Lock 29 on the Schuylkill Canal has Buck-a-Shuck oysters on Tuesday nights. I ate the poke bowl sub salmon; it was delicious! The street corn dip is good too.

We held our daughter’s 16th birthday dinner here and the staff was so accommodating and the cake by their pastry chef was perfect! Cannot recommend Lock 29 enough for a private event in their upstairs space!

Drove by this place a hundred times and finally ate there a few times. It’s beautiful to sit by the water. The staff has always been phenomenal- very helpful and friendly. Food is great. Burgers are huge and you can’t get better French fries! Want to go back for Buck A Shuck oysters on Tuesdays. Very interesting menu!
