Great service and food. We especially enjoyed the sushi assortments. The salmon was also a big hit.
This is the best service I've ever experienced. I wasn't as enthusiastic about the food. The sushi was delicious. The noodles could have been better. And you could taste the oil in the tempura. I would have liked a menu with photos, as it's not clear what the dishes look like.
Enjoyed our evening at Ooka. Food was delicious, service was great, and overall atmosphere was lively.
Boy has this place gone downhill - so sad - 4 wrong items served - quality of good big decline - got the buckets and mops out while several people still dining in hopes to close early- strong ammonia floor cleaner - pretty bad experience
Food was great, our server harry and the whole team were awesome , everyone was very attentive to our needs and made sure we were taken care of , will go back soon just to see harry 👌

Always a great food and time at Ooka. We highly recommend it for those that want quality sushi in the PA Philly burbs.
I've had sushi for over 30 years now and I've had it on 5th avenue in New York I've had it internationally - I've had it at little mom and pop places - this was substandard sushi, only semi-fresh, the sashimi was terrible - everything tasted funny and it was very expensive I will never go back there. The server was very kind and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Great vibe with good food. I believe it is overpriced for the quality of food. I believe they cut back on their quality and portions.

The food is always great and the service is always attentive and friendly. Their lychee cosmo is the best drink I've ever had & their sushi is always fresh & delicious.

9.10.25 had a belated birthday dinner with Eric and had two miso soups, two house salads, (found out that the ginger dressing has some pineapple juice in it, and that's why it gives me the hiccups, so she put white balsamic dressing for mine and it was quite good), had the seaweed salad to split, mushroom Tobanyaki, had the mango passion mixed seafood, cold appetizer, sushi, wrapped in cucumber, with the most beautiful tiny red rose! It was so perfect! Had the white Japanese sweet potato roll, the pumpkin asparagus roll, the snow, crab roll and the best was the shrimp tempura roll! It was my birthday so “on the house”, they gave us two scoops of green tea ice cream with a little piece of mint and blueberry, with a candle and sang! So sweet of our server! She was so nice! ... the top of our bill still says Mark, but we took a picture of her lovely smile! Great spot!! We also had two of the fresh homemade lemonades ...Thank you, OOKA...!
We are Ooka regulars- it never disappoints. They deliver on exactly what you expect from a Hibachi restaurant. They have a nice sake selection and large menu. Their sushi is delicious and innovative. They have a large selection of other appetizers and specialties, but the Hibachi is the star. They include both rice and fried noodles with the hibachi dinner- which we love. Our server was helpful, attentive and polite. Overall, it's a great spot and is one of our favorite go-to's.
Great team effort with service. Everyone helped each other to provide a great dining experience
New to the area, decided to try Ooka on a recent Saturday evening. Good crowd here at 6:00, a reservation was necessary. The staff here is both welcoming and efficient and our service throughout the meal was great. We started with a tempura sampler and a sushi roll. The tempura was an excellent version, great coating. The roll was called the Apple Jack, a very tasty combination of apple and traditional roll ingredients. We absolutely loved it!! On to our entrees: teriyaki shrimp (very good) and pan seared scallops (the hit of the night). We pushed on to two great desserts: the lemon peel crème brûlée and mochi. Both were great in their own right. Our first experience at Ooka was excellent from start to finish. We will definitely keep this one on our new eatery list…
The best food, drinks, and atmosphere! Whether we do hibachi or regular dining, Ooka never disappoints!
