The corn pudding was really good if it was called and biscuits pulled. Pork was very good. The turkey seemed to be a little bit dry and the fries were good. The coleslaw was excellent
We had a very nice lunch at Mel's Cafe. I had one of the specials and my wife had a classic Reuben. The server was friendly and pleasant. It was a nice cafe atmosphere. Course it was great to finish up with some peanut butter pie.
I am so impressed with Mel's Deli and Cafe. The staff at Mel's is top notch and should be recognized. My college best friend and her little girl came to town to visit. We walked into Mel's on a Saturday at 1:40, not knowing until we read the door that they close at 2. The staff welcomed us in, provided us top notch service. While also asking the little one if she wanted a tattoo and a sticker page to work on while we waited for our meal. We were treated with kindness...
