Nice hometown spot. I was there for a friend's wake and to celebrate her life with family and friends. Montrose reminds me of my birthplace and this restaurant was a great relaxing spot when I arrived at a 3 5 trip.
We came in with a group of 8 and I felt like the server was a little annoyed at first. She seemed to warm up and turned out to be a nice lady, but definitely first impression and greeting/friendliness were lacking. Food was good though! It is a little expensive if you have a big family, but then again, so is every other place!
Our family went here for lunch on a Friday. My wife and I each ordered a sandwich. I felt like the kids meals were a good value, and the pricing on breakfast dishes looked good vs what people were getting. We missed breakfast so lunch was what we ordered. The loaded fries seemed old/stale. Kids didn’t mind fortunately. My Cuban sandwich was very underwhelming, and came with potato chips and a couple pickles. Picture attached. The pickle was thicker than the meat and cheese....
