Ashley was my initial server. Sweet personality, service was great and she is super clean. Halfway through she was relieved by a woman who stuck her hands down the back of her pants and dug around. After that served food and drinks. Skipped washing her hands. Yuck!

This is a decent airport option, though the food was pretty ordinary and the prices were high. Bar Symon has ample seating, and service was quick and friendly. But if you are looking for a special experience at a restaurant bearing a famous chef’s name, look elsewhere.

Worst service in the world the bartender walked in out of the kitchen and never acknowledged me at the bar I was sitting for atleast 15 mins then I got up to ask if I can order because somebody came up after me and got to order then the bartender proceeded to get loud and have an attitude. & to “FOODYS” review please don’t act like you know what you are talking about to try & make your bar sound good nobody but the bartender made a fool of there self Kim couldn’t keep her composure and couldn’t even say she would be right with us instead of lying and saying she did now leave a review with your real name next time by the way most of the bartenders are horrible I’ve seen them on there phone will having a full bar now don’t leave a fake review to make the bar sound good and actually fix the experience at the bar next time .

To the last review, I was there when you made a fool of yourself, the bartender was doing her job very well and you had just walked in and sat down while she was taking care of another customer. Please refrain from leaving fake reviews

Customer service - server - was very accommodating and made my experience a pleasant surprise. Will go again when in Pittsburgh.

I had my flight canceled and had been stressed greatly, the lady who was tending the bar was extreamly kind and I want to thank her and the manager for their kind gestures. You guys had made what was a very stressful situation into a better one all together and I hope we cross paths again someday

Very rude bartender. Go somewhere after security for a better experienceShould clarify, for management, this was the middle aged female bartender working at 5pm on 3/19

I had an excellent experience at Buford's. The atmosphere was clean and inviting. The food was fresh and tasty. Even as good as these aspects of my visit were, the bartender, Lisa, was by far the highlight of my experience. Lisa was friendly, professional, and accommodating to everyone at Buford's. She even stayed open late to serve customers that had been left waiting in the airport due to weather-related flight delays. I would highly recommend Buford's to anyone visiting Pittsburgh International Airport.

The problem with being a famous chef, with an audience that remembers the criticism given to contestants on shows, is that we remember it. Dinner at the Pittsburgh Airport location was average. Considering Chef Symon's standards, it was disappointing. The potato and cheese pierogi looked like it had been made yesterday. Oil or butter from the filling had soaked through the dough, and the possibility incomplete frying resulted in no crispness to the dish at all. (The kielbasa, however, was good.) Caesar salad dressing was not bad, but the different Lettuces were tired and a little soggy, again suggesting that they had been made hours before, allowing the lettuce to marinate. The one bright spot was our waiter, Randy, who demonstrated a comprehensive knowledge of the menu, was responsive to all requests, and made a spot-on beer suggestion based on my tastes.

My friends and I wanted to grab a quick bite at around 4:30pm today before a flight. The bar and restaurant were empty however the food took over 45 mins to come out with some of us being served and some still waiting on food. The server, Bradley, wasn't very pleasant and was chewing gum with his mouth open the whole time. My friends and I all work in the hospitality industry so we are not people who complain because we understand the job is tough sometimes. However, server didn't ever come over to give us updates on why the food was taking so long and only managed to get half of the orders right. My friend went up to ask where her food was after the server had said "90 seconds on the flatbreads" which was infact not 90 seconds but about 10 minutes. The server came back to the table and proceeded to point his finger at her and yell at her for taking a harsh tone with him initially and just berated her in front of the table and few people at the bar. Super unprofessional - again we are all servers ourselves, so this was shocking to us. My other friend went to ask the server for a refund on the flatbread, and he said our friend could have her money if she came back and apologized to him. At that point we all left. Very unpleasant experience as we are not by any means picky or needy customers. Also the food really wasn't great at all and was not worth the money.

Best part of the dining experience was leaving.
