We visited this restaurant for dinner this evening . We are up north from florida and have been here many times before .I was very disappointed with the food . It was fair at best .not sure if it’s under new management or a different chef . It was tasteless. We ordered medium and it felt like their was no spices added to the dish . The chicken Tikka ( which I have many many times at lots of Indian restaurants was a 2 at best and the butter chicken was awful . ( again have had many times in many different restaurants) It felt like it was left over chicken added to a sauce that was tasteless .I would NOT recommend this restaurant.

Great to have Indian cuisine back in WilkesBarre. I have tried them several times and I always seem to have issue with my take out orders. Wrong items. The Mild Spice can be pretty hot.

We ordered chicken biriyani, which was very dry, with no flavor/aroma, less chicken compared with the rice quality and it came with a metal wire inside the food mixed with the rice,which we discovered after having eaten half of the rice, and oh yes, it was mostly a colorful rice instead of Biriyani.We also ordered garlic nun and matar paneer. The garlic from the nun was mostly missing but we found it in plenty in the matar paneer. Not to mention, they also put a complimentary free green liquid which we mistook for chutney which quickly had to find its way to the trash can. But I guess they could have done that themselves instead of packing it in our take away.They put the food inside a thermocol box and a plastic bag.They charge a high price for a quality of food that no one should eat even if it is given for free.Overall, I just wonder how easy it is now to buy fake reviews and make a below average restaurant appear great in paper.Just be careful before going into this store mistaking it as a restaurant

I’ve been coming here about a couple months now and if you are looking to try Indian food. I would highly recommend this place. They offer a buffet 11am-3pm which gives you a chance to try different foods if you aren’t sure on which food to try for 16 bucks. The white desert they have is to die for you will not regret
On Sunday, I visited this place for a lunch buffet and would rate it 4 out of 5 due to the limited availability of naan. While the food was enjoyable, I felt that there could have been more variety in the options offered.

I have been dining at Amber Indian Restaurant for over 20 years and can attest to the great quality of food and service offered here. The atmosphere is charming and comfortable. I love the ethnic decor and the spacious dining area. The food is so delicious and is so flavorful. You have a choice if you would like your food spicy, medium, or mild. They offer a wide variety of options from lamb, chicken, and vegetarian dishes that are sure to please your palette! Curries & and Tandoori are their specialty! They even offer rose ice cream, which is one of my very favorite dessert? They also offer gluten-free. They have a lunch buffet and Ala carte dinner. This has been our go-to spot for authentic Indian cuisine for over 20 years and continues to be our favorite place! ? ??

My first Indian food experience. The buffet was a good choice to try a little bit of almost everything. Clean restaurant, very attentive price was right. I would go back. Mango ice cream was a real treat

Food and service was great but we bought a Groupon and they didn't take it off the bill. We paid 15 for 30 of food so 30 should have been taken off but 15 was taken off. They are really good for event catering

Amazing! Every single time! This is our go to spot. Any celebration. Any reason to go out. No reason to go out. Always New Amber. My husband always enjoys exploring different dishes on the menu. I ALWAYS love the chicken tikka masala. If you can handle spicy go for hot! The samosas are amazing! The service is AMAZING. 10/10 recommend. We love it!
