We have been to the Valley View a few times to sample it before our wedding, and then again for our reception and ceremony which was recently held there. Both as a restaurant and as a wedding venue, we could not have possibly had a better experience, It can be a bit of an odd experience--it is in the middle of nowhere and is often not very busy--it is only open Saturday nights. It is an old building with a rustic feel to it and its grounds. That being said, their food is excellent and Brigitte is incredibly personable and attentive--she often sits down with tables to get to know her patrons. The food is heavy but very good. If you are considering having a wedding in the area or looking for a fancy dinner in the middle of the woods, we'd highly recommend it.
