Timbers is a small, charming restaurant located in a peaceful area, known for its friendly waitstaff and cozy atmosphere. The restaurant is famous for its fresh and homemade Caesar salad with homemade dressing. It offers a variety of dishes and is an excellent choice for group dinners, as both service and food are reliable. The restaurant hosts special occasions with a buffet that includes turkey, ham, roast beef, salads, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a dessert table, priced at $45 per person, including coffee or tea. The ambiance features light strands and a band that plays music suited for an older crowd, creating a festive setting. The staff is attentive, and many customers plan to return. The setting is cozy with a crackling fireplace and dim lighting, adding to its charm. Customers have praised the food, especially the dessert, and appreciated the trust shown when a guest forgot their wallet, with the staff offering to mail the bill. Timbers also hosted a performance of "Every Brilliant Thing" by Duncan Macmillan with Jonny Donahoe, which was highly appreciated for its interactive and emotional nature. Despite some comments about the place being a bit dated, dim lighting, and basic food, overall, it remains a welcoming spot with memorable experiences and attentive service.
