I went so that I could dine down in the caverns with my friend. The place is really cool to explore. Once we were ready to be seated, they took us on a mini tour and gave some interesting history of the place. Then we were seated in a dimly lit cavern to eat. The service was fantastic thanks to our server Jude who took great care of us. The food was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. I had Parmesan salmon with roasted Brussels and ancient grain rice grain rice, plus French onion soup with Gruyère cheese. Amazing experience!

My partner and I had dinner in the catacombs last night and it was fantastic! The atmosphere was amazing. Our server, Jude, was incredibly friendly and attentive. All of the food was to die for! We will absolutely be back again.

Great atmosphere, great people and service. Extremely tasty beer selection. I love all the different areas and options of things you can do. Its not super close to us but we take the drive for this place when we can. Love the catacombs. Such a beautiful atmosphere.

I was visiting family in the area and looking for somewhere for a late lunch. They had enjoyed eating here in the past so suggested we go. We had a fantastic time! The food was absolutely delicious. We got the Mexican street corn dip - I didn’t know what to expect but it was amazing! My husband and I both had the stout and he must have remarked a half a dozen times on the ride home how much he enjoyed it. All the food we got was super yummy - French onion soup, fish and chips, several types of burgers. We really enjoyed walking around the whole building and seeing all the neat nooks and crannies on the different levels. Everyone was really welcoming. Our waiter Tristan was excellent.

Outstanding food, service and experience. The Catacombs has became a family favorite for a holiday meal. The staff goes above and beyond to create a wonderful experience for the entire family. Our granddaughters age 4 & 6 are obsessed with eating in a cave! Special thanks to Kendra for impeccable service and Kelly for making our reservation happen. Until next year! Happy Holidays

You have to visit this Gem. Explore the catacombs! The food is amazing. Try to get a table in the fine dining areas outside of the bar, prob have to call ahead days or longer in advance. We drove 1.5 hrs to see this place and it didn’t disappoint. I’ll tell everybody that headed to mount joy to stop at Bubes!

I have been to Bube’s several times for murder mystery dinners and usually enjoy them. The food is always just so-so, but the experience is silly and fun, so I make an exception for the food. Last night we decided to try something different and go to the Feast. It takes place in the Catacombs and I was excited for the experience. The premise of the show was that it was about Santa and he was getting ready to retire and hand over the reins of the business to one of his children, but the elves didn’t like that and were getting ready to stage an uprising. Fun, right? Well, that show never happened. Instead we got 3 elves who found out that Santa was retiring and then they held a competition to see who would win being the next Santa. This basically devolved into a one-upmanship of who could out shout each other and who could find the way to make anything Christmas related as raunchy as possible. Don’t get me wrong, some off color humor was expected and can be funny, but this was just so far beyond that. Added to the equation was the fact that there was a very loud group of patrons in the party and the actors just kept egging them on. There were several antisemitic comments shouted by both the actors and some patrons. Totally unacceptable. On top of all of that, the murder mystery show was also going on upstairs and both the feast guests and the murder mystery guests were expected to get drinks from the same single bartender at the bar upstairs. The food was unimpressive, as always and one of the servers wore a beanie all night that said “I like older women.” This was supposed to be a fun and festive evening and instead it was a total disappointment. At $70 a person, not including drinks, this night was both a waste of time and money.

Our group of four went to the Christmas feast here last evening. As the people seated next to us stated, calling it a feast is a stretch. When we walked in the front door, the greeter was extremely rude. The performance was absolutely horrible. We were here for a medieval feast about 10 years ago and it was amazing. So funny, entertaining, and the food was really good. This was absolutely nothing like that.
The chicken was dry and sauce less.
The price they charge for this is outrageous. Needless to say it would be an another 10 years before I would come back. We left early as it was as actually painful to listen to. Very disappointing.

We attended the Christmas feast, it was less than exciting. Very expensive price tag on less that mediocre food, a very unrehearsed “show” and all that’s included is water. If you want an actual drink you must order it yourself from the bar upstairs. There are no prices on the drinks, they then hit you with an insane bill later. The drinks are all just mixers with a shot of alcohol in a plastic cup like you’re at a collage frat party. With the price of a fancy manhattan bar. I hate leaving bad reviews however I can’t in good conscience let others pay upwards of $250 for a terrible night as we did.
