Challenging golf course

Michael Reed

The bar is nice for gathering after the round, but the course is awful.

Little hidden gem in Mt. Joy. Movement like no other course in the area for sure. Up and down, left and right. Not just an "up and back" course like many of the local public courses. The greens - though they look a little shaggy - roll true and will reward a well struck putt as much as they'd penalize a poorly struck one. I feel like the best time to play is early in the morning or late in the day for a beautiful light that accentuates the rolling hills and water features. This course rewards good course management, and can be fun from ANY tee, so if you're a big hitter, you don't need to play the tips just to feel challenged. Will definitely be back here more during the season, and put it on my rotation for the season. Good leagues too!

Annual Thanksgiving outing wouldn't be the same anywhere else.

Played today for the first time with 2 friends. Greens were in good shape, tee boxes were a bit rough. Bummed that bar and restaurant were not open after our round. Would definitely play here again though.

Alot of griping about price for conditions. Not sure where all these people are golfing so much cheaper. The condition issue is literally 3 holes 7 8 9 and it continues to get better and those holes are fun and challenging with some unique character to make up for the issues with the greens. Appears they had some kind of fungus issue or something. The rest of the course is in good condition. No the tee boxes aren't prestine but nothing that should really impact your play too much. It's a fun course with super receptive greens and usually good pace Of play.

This course is absolutely horrible. The tee boxes were a disaster. The fairways weren't much better. Some of the greens were unputtable and don't get me started on the sandtraps. They look like they haven't added sand in years. Looks more like dirt. It's a crime that they charged 47 bucks to play this course. Wouldn't pay 10 to play this course. Stay away and go play a course that is in good shape.
