Negative reviews are not my norm but the Friday night experience was NOT pleasant!
I have hesitation to post this. However as a retired business owner of 3+ decades I would like to known this. We have had dinner here twice this week. First visit (Thursday) was with the family and had a wonderful experience! The hostess and our server were fantastic. (Could NOT have been better!). And EVERYONE loved their meals!!!!!
We have forgotten how much we liked Mosby. As we used to go here often. My wife and I decided to go that the next night (Friday). We made a trip from Hershey just for Mosey’s. This time we were going to eat in the bar side, as when just us, we prefer bar area. We saw our server and the hostess from the previous night and they were just as friendly as the night before.
We sat at the bar, not a big bar and there were 4 to 5 open seats (5:30 ish) the male bartender was busy talking about the coming NFL games, he was approx 10’ away, did not greet or look our way and we had to walk past him for the open seats. We were there for 5+ min with nothing said to us. I was enjoying the conversation with my wife so likely longer. I raised my hand twice to get his attention, don’t think he was too pleased to stop his conversation when he saw my hand. After reluctantly get us drinks, he went back to his conversation and hardly did anything else. I assume they were obviously regulars, but a bar needs more than just regular. We had no other service until my beer was nearly done, until the server that was serving the tables around the bar, asked if I want another, I did and asked if we could have menus. I’m going to say we were there approximately 15 / 20 min to get the second service and menus.
The salads and dinners were absolutely GREAT food, just like the night before!!!
The icing on this evening came when judging by reaction of the bartender and the bar server (if you will), likely three regulars came to the bar. As they looked for seats, the bar servers actually asked us from the table area of the bar… “ are you guys done”. (Yes she did.). Keep in mind, my wife still had over a half a beer, I had my glass up at the edge (ready for another), they never asked if we want dessert nor did we have our bill yet! I guess that was their way of making room for their regulars and telling us it was time to leave.
I hesitated to write this because of the family experience on Thursday and the good food, but the bar service was the worst experience. Nothing like not being wanted. I HOPE this “bar” service doesn’t ruin it for Mosby as they obviously have fine cooks and outstanding dinning room servers.
I gave this number of stars for the service from the Thursday night and great food. BUT, they could not make up 100% for the unwanted bar experience from Friday night.

This was our first experience at Mosby’s and we were impressed. The bar area is large, clean and separate from the dining room, which I liked. My boyfriend had shepherd’s pie, which he thought was delicious and I had potato skins, which were really good and huge! We will definitely be back!

One of our family favorites. The staff is always welcoming and the food is always great!
Parking: The parking lot is located behind the restaurant but there is usually plenty of street parking as well.
Kid-friendliness: My child loves their kids burger and fries. The servers are always very sweet to her as well. She loves coming to Mosby's

Wow….the service here from Eddie and Jen is out of this world! We rarely go out anymore because prices are crazy and people are awful. So glad we came here - great food, UNBELIEVABLE service, and fair prices. We’ll be back for sure!!!

I’ve visited Mosby’s twice now and loved my experience each time. The atmosphere is comfortable, the food great, and the staff is incredible. They are so friendly and personable. I was so impressed our waitress remembered us (and what I ordered!) on only our second visit which was months apart. The owner/manager takes the time to stop by and thank you for coming and make certain everything is to your liking. It’s a place where you feel welcome like family. Looking forward to visiting again!
Parking: There’s a lot in the alley behind the restaurant that has ample space.
