The service was HORRIBLE. The waitress was either hungover or tweaking. After being seated, it took her 10 mins to come over to take our order. She provided no silverware, napkins or additional water the whole time we were there. I had to go to the front where she was sneakily eating to ask for condiments for the meal and refills on water. The food was mediocre. The Bulgogi was decent but the Don katsu was some type of deconstructed version that had no egg, no flavor and dry like jerky. Would NEVER go back. We should've gone (back) to Desaki.

We’re going to another place to have a late lunch when we passed by Kimchi Wasabi and decided to try the place. That was a pretty good change! The place has a fusion of Japanese and Korean food for very reasonable prices. He had Takoyaki and dumplings as starters and I had Katsudon (pork) and my husband had a Bulgogi (beef). Food was served fast and tasted good. Sorry… no pictures… we were really hungry when we got there! :)

I am updating my review. My original review was for Amber steakhouse not kimchi and wasabi. After going through some of my reviews, I realized after a place has changed business. I guess they change the Google maps. So now my review for Amber steakhouse was showing up for this which was not a good review. I tried to delete the review and it wouldn’t work so in good faith I’m just giving it five stars not to bring the rating down because I’ve never been there.

I ate kimchi stew, beef radish soup, seasoned chicken, and ramen. It's a shame that there aren't many side dishes, but overall the food is neat and tastes typical of Korean food. The water tasted especially good. The space is also very clean. The surroundings are a quiet place surrounded by forests, but it is very impressive that there is a wonderful Korean restaurant in such a place. Recommended.

Service was good and people were friendly. The only thing is the Korean dishes… the kimchi lacked flavor. The bimbimbap dish lacked seasoning sadly and my girlfriend ordered a soup dish that lacked spice and flavor… the rice that came with it also have a sour smell to it. I would not recommend this place for Korean cuisine but their sushi was good

This restaurant was great. It had really good Korean food, and the servers/people taking my order were very friendly. Some of the servers were also able to talk Korean and take my order in Korean. Overall, if you want Korean food in this area, this is the place to go.

For the Poconos, the food helped satisfy my Asian food cravings. However, some of the Korean dishes were slightly too sweet, pork tonkasu was too thin, and the side dishes could have been better. The japche and pancake was very good. I didn’t try any of the Japanese dishes. Overall, it’s a good place for Asian food in the Poconos. The service was excellent.

I remember their past restaurant, Satto Sushi, and am incredibly happy they're still around as Kimchi and Wasabi. If you want good korean food, nothing else hits the spot quite like this place!
I highly recommend their hwedupbop, but everything I've gotten from them has been incredible!
