We waited an hour and a half for mediocre food. The place had one other large party ahead of us and kept blaming the slow service on that, but the rest of the tables were empty and there were less than a dozen people scattered through the bar area. The waitress was kind, but we won’t be back

Waitress was nice. But waited well over an hour for our three course meal. 4 adults and 3 children. Order was put in together but received in three stages. First kids got their meals, burgers and fries. After they finished, 2 adults got their burgers, then another long delay and pizza and beef stew arrived. Probably a hour and a half to get full order.
Food was delicious..
Felt sorry for the nice waitress/bartender, she was very busy.

This was a very mediocre, at best, meal. There was only 1 lady serving and she was working very very hard so none of this is her fault. But the food was nothing you couldn't get at Applebee's or Chili's and it was very expensive for what it was.

I had the Beef Stew and it was ground meat, not cubed beef, and it tasted like it was out of a bag and not homemade. The wings were not good and my kids Mac n cheese was way too small, even for a kid.

We paid over $70 for a bowl of stew, club sandwich, 10 piece wings, and kids Mac n cheese. Way better options for the price in the area.

I was in the poconos for a medical conference at Kalahari and my colleague and I went to Burke's Tavern. The atmosphere and service was inviting and top notch. Brea, the manager, was fun and engaging. Treating us like we were regulars. The menu is extensive and has homemade quality. If you are in the Poconos, plan on stopping ny and enjoy the great food and hospitality.

Great Bar atmosphere, very open and roomy. Excellent food and weekly specials. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Probably the cleanest well kept bar in the Poconos. I highly recommend Berks for a relaxing place for food and drinks!

The place was busy and understaffed for Sunday afternoon during football season. The server was doing the best she could but it seemed overwhelming and I heard her continuously have to apologize to tables, likely due to food issues and long waits. Our food was not good, the turkey Reuben was cold and the “melted” cheese came off in one cold, flat layer. My son barely ate his burger. The fries were great, the only warm thing served, There are skill cranes and some arcade games, my son won a small ball. We had seen people earlier playing with it at a small table in the arcade area, so we decided to try the same. A man (perhaps the owner?) in a BT shirt came over and said specifically to my son “Hey! Can you read this sign?” Pointing to a piece of paper taped to the machine. My son nervously read it out loud which said no playing ball in the restaurant. The man condescendingly said “Good job. So let’s move out. And go Steelers”
It was embarrassing for sure, and I understand we didn’t see the sign and we’re not following the rule, but his delivery definitely was uncalled for.
If it wasn’t for the server and bartender, and the other Steelers fans we met at the table next to us, this review would have been no more than 0 stars.

Place was unbelievably filthy!!! Table was soaking wet upon arrival, food splattered on the walls, waitress was initially attentive- served our food asked if we needed anything else- we politely asked for bbq sauce and proceeded to not arrive again for another 30 minutes to check back up on us. By the time she arrived with the bbq sauce my boyfriend’s pulled pork sandwich was cold enough to have a pulse. Worst Philly cheesesteak I have EVER had completely greasy and more cheese than steak. Hopefully you like eating everything with ur dirty hands because they will not offer you silverware either (even for saucy boneless wings)
