We had a wonderful evening at this upscale restaurant and left thoroughly impressed. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless and enjoyable—even with a toddler in tow, which is no small feat!
We ordered three dishes: the steak with mashed potatoes, the chicken with beet risotto, and the duck with summer succotash. Every plate was exceptional. As people who love to cook and usually find dining out a mixed bag, we were blown away by the quality, creativity, and execution of the food. This meal was not only delicious—it was absolutely worth it.
Our server, Lauren, was outstanding. She struck the perfect balance of being attentive without being intrusive, and she was kind, professional, and genuinely pleasant to interact with throughout the evening.
If we were back in town, we would definitely dine here again—and recommend this place to anyone looking for a high-end meal that actually delivers on the promise.
The menu is really limited.it smelled musty in the restaurant, maybe becauseof the lake.. should have candles or air fresheners. We waited an hour, so rob gave us a dessert, which was nice.my girlfriend said her steak was tough, my pork chop wasn't great. Should have a bar menu. Everything is Ala cart.
Horrible service! HORRIBLE FOOD!My husband and I ordered the 6 course dinner the salmon on ciabota roll was the first meal fish wasn't fresh and roll fell apart. Don't get me started on the other course chicken wing and leg on top of risotto. And another shrimp with peice pineapple on a skewer. Macaroni with beef stock few little pieces of beef. REALLY!!!! And looked like grass on plate another course. Finally peice of Strawberry cake desert. And food was cold
service SUCKED!!!! Gave us wrong drinks she had to go back and get us the correct drinks a d forgot our silverware.
PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING THERE AND WASTING ALOT OF MONEY! If I could give zero rating I would.
We ordered lobster and crab and steak. All were perfectly prepared. I would absolutely come back — in fact we just might.
Delicious food, friendly and accommodating staff. Best 60th birthday dinner with spectacular view!!!!
I made a reservation for my girlfriend's bday. Not Thinking, I picked bar seating when making the reservation. When we got there we asked if we can change to a table. The host accommodated us with no issue. I can't remember his name. But very friendly. We sat at a nice cozy table and the waitress came over. Immediately she said happy bday to my girlfriend and she was very pleasant. Her name is Ehrin. Hope I spelled it right. My girlfriend can't eat creamy things, as she has an issue with her stomach. Ehrin was so nice and took her time to explain which meals had a cream sauce, and shook her head when my gf picked out something she thought she couldn't eat. lol. That was very appreciated. The food and service was excellent. The drinks were also perfect. I drink Bacardi and Coke and they made them strong like I would make them. We enjoyed the place so much that we will definitely come back many more times.
Great evening with friends. This was steak night and for a very reasonable $39 included Caesar salad, ribeye steak with potatoes and broccolini and desert. We all ate well and had a great time
Loved it ! Food was great ! Clean , beautiful ambience! Right on a small lake ! Can eat outside ! Great place !
We've been here several times over the years, super reliable every time. This is our first time sitting out on the patio the longest night of the year, it's really beautiful on a nice summer night.
Dinners came out cold risotto was like a oatmeal won't go back for the price they charge

So much expectation. The ambiance and set up is great; elegantly set up and a beautiful view of the lake. As for the meal: the oysters and ceviche were excellent. The broccoli and cheese soup was ok- too salty IMHO. The swordfish was very good but the salmon was average. The side dishes are pedestrian- absolutely no effort in seasoning . The broccolini was steamed and bland. Their beer selection is average though the cocktails were all well done.
Outstanding service and food! Had reservations for my birthday, got sat immediately by the windows facing the water, absolutely gorgeous! The staff were all so attentive and nice! Our server Erin was just amazing, helpful and sweet! The Manager encouraged us to walk around the property after our dinner and made sure we had an excellent experience. Ordered the Tomahawk Steak and it was to die for, they even wrapped the bone for me to take home! My friends got the Center Cut Steaks and they were inlove with them. Could not recommend this place enough!
We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary staying in the Pocono’s. I saw this place when I looked up restaurants nearby. Seeing some pictures the seating by the water sold me. Walking through the door, the host made us feel as if we were regulars to the place. Especially when we told him what we celebrating and that we had chosen his place. Erin was our server and she was great! The food was delicious! We will definitely be stopping in again next time we come up. Thank you again all who made our night so special at “The Waters Edge”
.
Awesome time celebrating our anniversary weekend. Thanks so much!
Beautiful lake views though large windows. Quaint location with great drink and food selection. I recommend the smoke old fashioned, the crab dip, and the scallops.
