What an enjoyable evening! Food was delish! Service was exceptional and ambience was spot on! Highly recommend!
This is a fantastic restaurant with a beautiful view, beautiful dining room, and extra delicious food. We licked our plates clean! It's pricey but worth it for a special night out. We celebrated our anniversary here and it was a perfect evening.
The chef's tasting for $80 was amazing! I couldn't pick what to order so I got to try so much and each plate was filling. We weren't offered any coffee with dessert and I think I know why. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the cappuccino I ordered with the final dessert plate (a pumpkin whoopie pie with dragon fruit cream, delicious!). The proportions of espresso, milk, and foam were wrong and the espresso tasted burnt. Otherwise, all 5 stars!
My WIFE (SO excited to say this) and I came here for our first dinner of our honeymoon trip through the East Coast and WOW did they go all out. The host immediately congratulated us and asked us all about the wedding, and made room for us to sit next to the windows overlooking the small pond. We were given a surprise treat of lump crab over a tomato and red onion puree which was DIVINE! We ordered an espresso martini with Bailey's added as well as the fall mule, both of which were perfectly mixed and not too boozy or tasting of cheap ingredients. For dinner we both went with a 6 course meal which consisted of 5 uniquely crafted dishes, all with beautiful and delicate plating as well as delicious food (the courses are a surprise, so no spoilers!). We highly recommend the premium wine pairing as they all complimented the individual dishes in such an astute manor, a long with getting us giggly and having an absolute blast by the time desert came for our final course. Our waitress (I'm unsure of her name, the short one with braces and glasses) was incredibly informative and knowledgeable of the restaurant, area and origin of the courses we ordered. Our glasses were never empty and we felt wanted and our time spent with them highly appreciated. The atmosphere is very rustic yet tasteful, and has unique touches of elegance all around both the inside of the restaurant and around the property. We found it very warm, comforting and relaxing to dine in. If I could give more stars I would, The Water's Edge is absolutely one of the best places we've had the pleasure of dining at and we recommend it to anyone in or passing through the area celebrating a special occasion.
We've eaten here before for special occasions. The staff is always friendly, accommodating and helpful. The food is amazing. We have never been disappointed and the price is very reasonable. The restaurant itself is very cozy and quiet even when full. We will definitely be back!
Beautiful restaurant on a small lake. Easy parking. Dark wood interior is romantic as well as relaxing and matches the woods of the Pocono area. The service was excellent and the chef was willing to put garlic on the broccolini which enmded up being delicious. The main courses were complex and tasty, demonstrating great skill in the litchen. We enjoyed the entire experience!
Unfortunately our server won't let us enjoy our meal as she kept coming back and back it's a restaurant that you do r want to be asked 20 times how is your meal. The other issue is either there is a cat or the linen's had a Cat on them. My wis highly allergic to cats and we end up leaving and going to the ER as she was having difficulty breathing. Great atmosphere if it was t for the over attentive waitstaff and the CAT.
Took my son for his 13th birthday as we had a boys weekend. The food was excellent and well cooked. The staff was very courteous and attentive. The atmosphere was really quiet and pleasant, and we had a great view at a window table. Highly recommended!
Second time we visited The Water's Edge - The food is fantastic. The prices are reasonable.
This place was definitely a first and will soon be a recurring restaurant for us. When coming in the summer months, make sure to book a reservation for their outside seating, gorgeous! The staff couldn't be any more accommodating for our party and our pupper! They were so pet friendly, it blew us away! From the swordfish to the ceviche, the lobster & crab, mussels, and the tuna - all amazing! Cooked to perfection and the service was the best! Next time, we are definitely trying the chefs tasting menu!!! So glad we found this hidden gem, only 30 mins away from Stroudsburg! Easily became one of our all time favorite restaurant!

Everything was wonderful from the service to the ambience The food was amazing. The drinks were outstanding and that view 😍
My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. We arrived and were seated at the requested table at the windows, looking over the water. Our server, Chelsea (i hope this is correct), was wonderful, attentive, and always had a smile. We ordered our drinks, and there were fabulous, Smokey Old-fashioned and a dirty martini. The great touch of olive empanade and hummus were delicious. We ordered, the steam clams special, so good and the mussels with red sauce, my husband loved them. He ordered the strip steak, which was cooked to perfection. I ordered the swordfish, which was good, but after the first taste, I realized it was cold... I let Chelsea know, and she was so apologetic. The manager, Rob, came over and asked if I would like something else. I told him that after all the other food, I was actually good. Rob was apologetic about what happened. He offered our dessert on them which so very nice of them. But then, to my surprise, Rob came out with a charcuterie board. This was absolutely the best and most delicious. Kuddos to Rob, Chelsea and Waters Edge for being so good as always .
We had a wonderful evening at this upscale restaurant and left thoroughly impressed. From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless and enjoyable—even with a toddler in tow, which is no small feat!
We ordered three dishes: the steak with mashed potatoes, the chicken with beet risotto, and the duck with summer succotash. Every plate was exceptional. As people who love to cook and usually find dining out a mixed bag, we were blown away by the quality, creativity, and execution of the food. This meal was not only delicious—it was absolutely worth it.
Our server, Lauren, was outstanding. She struck the perfect balance of being attentive without being intrusive, and she was kind, professional, and genuinely pleasant to interact with throughout the evening.
If we were back in town, we would definitely dine here again—and recommend this place to anyone looking for a high-end meal that actually delivers on the promise.
The menu is really limited.it smelled musty in the restaurant, maybe becauseof the lake.. should have candles or air fresheners. We waited an hour, so rob gave us a dessert, which was nice.my girlfriend said her steak was tough, my pork chop wasn't great. Should have a bar menu. Everything is Ala cart.
Horrible service! HORRIBLE FOOD!My husband and I ordered the 6 course dinner the salmon on ciabota roll was the first meal fish wasn't fresh and roll fell apart. Don't get me started on the other course chicken wing and leg on top of risotto. And another shrimp with peice pineapple on a skewer. Macaroni with beef stock few little pieces of beef. REALLY!!!! And looked like grass on plate another course. Finally peice of Strawberry cake desert. And food was cold
service SUCKED!!!! Gave us wrong drinks she had to go back and get us the correct drinks a d forgot our silverware.
PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE GOING THERE AND WASTING ALOT OF MONEY! If I could give zero rating I would.
