Bricktown Kickn' Chicken (Carry Out Only)

This was our first time trying the food here. It is delicious! Love the taste of the chicken. Wife loves the mashed potato bowl, it is huge for the low price. Will definitely be ordering again and trying some of the other meals!!

These guys just don't miss. The Nashville sandwich is amazing and reasonably priced. I just had a dozen of the lemon pepper wings and WOW. Big, juicy wings for a good price. I always try to stop here when I'm in the area.

We heard great things about this place from their features on WTAJ’s Studio 814. The food always looks amazing, and you can tell the owner puts a lot of pride into his work to make great food. So we went out of our way to visit Mount Union to get some Bricktown Kickn’ Chicken takeout. We had to try their huge chicken pies, and we also got some fresh fried chicken and potato wedges. I’m a big pot pie fan, and this one did not disappoint! It fed three of us and we still had half as leftovers! We got ordered ours frozen, so if you do so, give it plenty of time to thaw in advance, then bake it as instructed. It is so thick, you’ll need a good thermometer to make sure it cooked all the way through. But the seasoning was great, and the crust is so hearty on top and bottom! Also, the fried chicken was so fresh with really good seasoning. So much better than what you get at the chain restaurants!

We had to park around the block as I wanted to stop in for pickup, but they also have takeout window so you can just pull up to pick up your order. Also, there is no dining in, just take out.

Give this place a try if you’re in Mount Union. Or do what I did and go out of your way to visit and pick up some fantastic homemade comfort food while supporting a small business! It’s worth it!

My husband and I made a special trip up (Lewistown)just to try this place….OUTSTANDING!! We had a sampler with Mac and cheese. And 1/2 rack of ribs, the chips are probably the best I’ve had. We are foodies and I can tell you, we will be back and I’ll spread the word. Great service as well. Thank you!

I actually got to meet Dwight and he shared the story of people coming from all over the place from Altoona, from Pittsburgh, from Lewistown from North Carolina.... I get it!!!
By far, that was some serious Bar B Q...I think best BBQ I have ever had!

I had the sampler and every morsel in this gigantic container was to die for!!!

Food is usually really good here. Two young girls working on a Friday night. None said hello when I walked in. I guessed they assumed I was there for a takeout and they were right this time, but what if I wasn’t? Stood there for a few minutes. Very odd. I called 4 times before they answered for the takeout. Ordered a hot sausage but didn’t look like the picture. Chicken was cold.

Bricktown has many delicious items to choose from. They gave us a sample of smoked ribs that we immediately purchased. We also picked up frozen meat pies for home that were very good.The young man working the counter ( Damien) was very helpful and friendly. We will back.
