Cavanaugh's has a new chef in the house and the food is better than ever before! Service has improved as well. The live music and the atmosphere is just as great as ever! Love having a nice little restaurant/bar in Mt Top with a Beautiful outdoor space!

Took my teenage son out to the Grille tonight after a baseball game and must admit I’m a little disappointed. I ordered what was advertised as an 8 ounce Angus burger but when it came out, it was clear it was no more than a quarter pounder and it was well done instead of medium. Not only was it smaller than the bun and half as thick as I expected, but the fries were also served cold and were small little schnizlets and not breaded as advertised. Perhaps most frustrating of all...

Monday is trivia night , with gift cards as prizes. Great specials on Wings or Steamed clams at $8/doz. Staff is outstanding , as well as the kitchen staff/chef. The outdoor patio, in season, is wonderful with large TVs and live music several nights each week.
