I have been on the hunt for some real GOOD and AUTHENTIC West Indian food for a longggg time (my areas sucks lol). Came across this restaurant, bought a couple plates of food and they were all SO DELICIOUS !Definitely going back for more !

Friendly family run business that walks you through your choices. We got the j*** pork and curried goat. Both were very, very good with just the right amount of spice. The red beans and rice were so flavorful. The portions were quite large. We had plenty of leftovers for another meal. Very good value. We will be back. Refreshing to have such an authentic option in Mountain Top. Wholeheartedly recommend!

Ordered oxtail for takeout. Even though the presentation of the food didn’t appeal to me at first, the food is tasty. Oxtail is well cooked and tender enough to melt in my mouth. First time having Caribbean food and it didn’t let me down. Worth the try.

My wife and I went to PA for a weekend drive to see the beautiful fall colors, we decided to stop and grab some sandwiches, we saw this place pop up and had to try it.All I can say…. they did not disappoint, the food was excellent, seasoned well.The j*** chicken was moist and delicious, and just the right amount of spices.This really hit the spot.Please go here if you are looking for something different, we are sure glad we did and will be back again for sure.PS. Try the sorrel with ginger, it’s a Jamaican drink and it was perfect with our dish.

I had the chicken j**** and wow it's like they shipped it up from Jamaica! Everything was so flavorful. The chicken was cooked very well, and you get a good portion. Also, I love their little shop. It's painted like the Jamaican flag and they were playing Bob Marley!

Wonderful dining experience at this Caribbean gem. The food had just enough spice and was bursting with flavor. The customer service experience was exceptional as well. I had the curry shrimp with peas and rice. I also had a lovely pineapple soda with ginger that was amazingly good also.

I’m new to the area and was beginning to think all I could find in Mountaintop was pizza and fast food. I’m a fan of those, but definitely needed something different. Found Eli’s after doing a little searching on Google. I had never tried Caribbean food prior to going. I had the curried goat and WOW! It killed it on so many levels. The meat was absolutely cooked to perfection. Just the perfect amount of tender and juicy. The gravy had and amazing flavor that made mixing the meat and rice a must. The meal came with a very generous portion of rice and beans, and some mixed vegetables. I’m talking like two meals in one container. Everything was done right. The young man who waited on me was very polite, and just what you want from someone serving you. If I had gone to a fast food place I probably would’ve got attitude just for ordering. Lastly the place looked very clean. I’m a big fan, and will definitely be returning to try some other menu items. Lastly I made this review right after eating there. Just had to say how good it was.

Omg it was amazing. Drove a half hour to get their and it did not disappoint. The absolute most amazing curry chicken I have ever had. I also got j*** chicken as well ,it too was delicious. My plantains were strait put the oven and best i have e er had .Prices were good portion size very good .It is a family run business. There son is very polite and personable . I had a very nice convo with him.We will definitely be going back!!! I needed comfort food today and between the friendly atmosphere and the beyond delicious food that is exactly what I got

The food is good but the prices and the portions are ridiculous. $14 for a regular/ small plate is simply not the way to go in these times and in this area. I ate and I am still hungry which means apart from $14 I will mostly have to spend more money on food today. It’s an Inconvenience… I really thought this was going to become my new go to place.

Wow is this place ever good!! Wonderful spice in everything. Very generous portions. The cabbage, plantains and curried chicken are a must try. Finally something other than pizza in Mt Top!

Small cute establishment the owner was very welcoming. The food was very good , full of flavor and the portions was very generous. In this area having food that is delicious is very rare, we often have to travel outside the area. Make sure to check this place out !

Staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. We got a little bit of everything, and it was all fantastic; j*** chicken, curry goat, curry chicken, oxtail. The portions are also very generous. I'll definitely be going to visit Eli's again. I can't wait to try the big escovitch fried fish.
