Nice Italian restaurant. Really popular with locals. They have an outdoor section for the summer. Portions are big enough to take some home.

I do not delight in sharing this review because I have been to Kings restaurant in the past and never had a problem, not until tonight. NOTE: We were there early, So it was “see yourself “which meant not busy.I’ll try to keep this as short as possible. -My son, orders small steak and cheese, Stromboli -I ordered pizza half onion, half olive different halves -While waiting for a long time for the food, waitress comes over and apologizes because she screwed up when she put the order in- she put my pizza order onto his Stromboli. -“Half of it”had already been made w/onion which she brought over to the table. -At first, we were laughing about the incident, bc we felt it was an honest Mistake And the waitress felt bad about it as well. -We had to wait even longer after that because something else had happened -my son, still asking for the other half of his Stromboli, she told they won’t make a half. Because of the situation she told him she would bring over a “special Stromboli “ -She brought a small whole special Stromboli, which had bacon ham peppers in it, which my son does not eat. Normally, our restaurant replaces what the customer, But you brought over something he didn’t even want the first place -Says it to the waitress, And the conversation and everything just went downhill. She became a little snippy. My son kept saying to me why did she bring over a different kind of Stromboli than I ordered? - if the restaurant makes an error in what they made, they usually replace it with the same item you ordered. That is not what happened here. -We thought the replacement she brought to the table was ours to take home so I boxed it up with my leftover pizza -waitress comes over and says, where is the Stromboli? you can’t have that; I need it back. I have never in my life Heard anybody in a restaurant do this or say that to me. I had to open the pizza box where I placed the other Stromboli, she got a pan and dumped it out. my son heard her say that she had to pay for that out of her own pay if it was a mistake. -So in summary, my son got gypped out of his order. He only got a half of the small. She took it off the bill, But the restaurant did not give him what he wanted. He’s a customer. I never had a restaurant treat a customer quite this way so we’re probably never gonna go there again because of this mistake.

Went for dinner last night, sub-par to say the least...4 waitress behind the bar on the deck, multiple looked at us as we waited to be seated but yet none of them acknowledged our existence. Finally after a couple minutes someone came over & said "you can sit anywhere". They weren't even busy!
If you want pizza, this is the BEST pizza around! Dinners, NOT so much!! Lettuce was old, soggy & brown in our side salads. Baked potato tasted old, like it was sitting around for awhile. French fries are your typical freezer fries. Chicken was sub-par, very thin & tough at times.
We'll be back for pizza but dinners we'll go elsewhere.
Long time customer, having moments of questioning eating elsewhere from now on. Buffalo chicken pizza had about 7? Chunk of chicken, was basically a white pizza with sauce. HIGHLY understaffed and the staff seems highly stressed out and have been showing more and more toxic traits when we ate in. This last time after waiting 1.5hrs to sit (with 13 open tables outside) we decided to leave as everyone walking out was giving us bad news/complaints along with saying "good luck". I hope this place can turn it around, it's a great place troubled by staffing issues and some toxic environment attitudes.

What has happened to Kings? I'd give ZERO stars if I could. It was once a Clean and Friendly place to go to dinner with great service, and food. Now, most the staff are nasty and angry, and don't bother to bring your food out in a timely manner. They talk down to customers when they get their order wrong, and tell the customer that they should have been more clear on what they wanted. I don't care if they are understaff...I am the customer and should be treated with respect. I'm sick of that excuse for their bad behavior. We were there last Friday and I witness a waitress-bartender go after an older couple because the waitress got their drink order wrong, and she scolded them how they should have order it. their drinks. Unbelievable! We waited for over an hour to get their food and it was COLD! Then about hour later we had to ask for a bill, which ticked off the staff too. We should have walked out without paying. BAD SERVICE!!!! This is the second time that we have gone and had a bad experience, and we will NEVER go back
Our waitress was very friendly and helpful while recommending drinks to go with our meals. Food came quickly and was very good- large portions as well!

The Chicken Gamberoni is GREAT! Has become my favorite, my husband loves the Stuffed Eggplant, but everything is delicious! Always Friendly staff! We dine on the deck all summer and dine in when the deck closes in the late fall and also take out on occasion. Excellent service and Food always!
