Family owned and the BEST chorizo taco I've had I get 2 every time I order. The staff are always welcoming and kind. The food is cared for and love is cooked into it, the Guava Cheesecake is outrageously delicious! Birria meat is slow cooked and also delicious! Anyone who complains about taco size doesn't understand what a taco is lol its not a burrito my guy. Any way stop in and get their chorizo or soy chorizo if you're vegetarian!

I went to Stoney for lunch, ordered pick up over the phone, friendly nice going people. I got the super nachos because they were out of walking tacos. The nachos were okay. A okay portion but some stuff in my opinion was missing. Under seasoned, and the taste of everything really wasn’t there. I was mostly tasting the cilantro more than anything. 7.5/10

This is the second time I’ve tried the place. Both times I’ve been severely let down, and not sure what the hype is about. Went in today and ordered 5 tacos and a quesadilla. The tacos are tiny, fit in the palm of your hand, barely any protein in them… the total was 43 and change which was crazy to be charging 6+ per taco for these tiny tacos. Taco shells were stale and chewy… the Burris you’ll see pictured had no sauce to dip into and was the driest, most tasteless Birria I’ve ever had. The chicken tasted like it was out of a can, dry and cut into small chunks… the beef was bland and scarce… the only taco worth anything was the chorizo… also, it would be nice if the people making your food didn’t have their shorts halfway down their rear with no underwear on… not a great showing when you’re getting ready to consume food they prepared for you. Won’t be back.

Don't know what the food is like because I didn't get what I ordered or my money back. Placed a breakfast order on their site Sat Aug 10th. Show up to pick up the food and the woman working tells me they're not doing breakfast, they're closed for an event. I'm told I'll need to be issued a refund. Wait a few days and no money back. Call for a refund, provide my order details from my slip and the manager says I'll get a refund. Week later and still nothing. Thanks guys!

Solid spot for tacos, burritos, quesadillas, and other typical Mexican-American meals. The prices are very fair and the portions are pretty good too, depending on what you order. I tried quite a few of their items: a super quesadilla with birria (stewed beef), refried beans, and tres leches cake.

The super quesadilla was just okay. They did include a large portion, but the taste of it was just a bit strange. The meat was good, and so was the cheese. However, they included some sort of mayonnaise like sauce (that definitely wasn’t cheese) with it that didn’t sit well with me.

The beans were good. They give a generous portion. On the sides, the container was a bit crusty. However, the beans themselves were creamy and tasty. A good side.

The tres leches cake was very, very good. The best thing I tried from this place. It was fluffy on the top and very creamy. Perfect sweetness and a nice portion. Would definitely recommend.

All in all, a pretty decent Mexican spot. Quesadilla was a bit questionable, but if you do come here, you must get the tres leches.

Vegetarian options: Can make most tacos or burritos vegetarian but most specialties have meat

Kid-friendliness: Good for takeout of classic Mexican food

I never seen queso that was bright yellow. We paid $6 for 4oz of nacho cheese. Stoney is a very cool person service was great. Also no red or green peppers “in the building” and no options for a smaller size of guacamole.

Smaller taco and burrito shop but offering a massive taste for the pallet. I enjoyed the chicken taco along two cactus tacos. They were all good however I gotta say the cactus taco is a hidden gem! Please stop by and get yourself something here, you won't regret it!

My wife and I got take out and it was fabulous. My wife got the Birria Quesadillas and I got the Super Quesadilla with Al Pastor. We shared a bit of them and both were very good. My wife said the birria was mild while I thought it had some kick that snuck up on you, but I'm a wuss about spice so maybe listen to her view. She also loved the green salsa that came with the food and took mine as well.

As far as the location goes it's nothing fancy, which is not a complaint, it doesn't have a ton of seating but everything looked clean and well maintained. The man who took our order at the counter was very nice and patient with us while we indecisively stared at the menu.

The parking is all street-curb parking but we didn't have any trouble finding a spot. I'm sure that will just depend on the time and how busy the area gets. We'll will definitely be back to try some of the other offerings.
