Updated review after new management: I am so glad they still have La Prima coffee, as that is the biggest draw for me. They also sell bags of whole beans, which we buy regularly. Pottery side is still awesome, with lots of items to choose from to paint. This is a great place to work and sit for a little while - I absolutely love this space for working or meeting up with a friend. I really wish they had used the relaunching of Brushes & Beans to really get into real house made syrups rather than the pump bottles, but I'm happy that they have been offering at least one house made syrup at a time, which they never had before. The biggest disappointment is the pricing and drink sizes. Their prices have gone up significantly, and the sizes are much smaller. They don't have an XL black coffee anymore, and a small size drink is seriously barely bigger than a sample cup. Any kind of latte is over $5 for that tiny cup. They also don't offer any refills or at least a discount refill for black coffee, no matter how much you spend. Overall this place is still great, with a wonderful atmosphere, and the best coffee beans. I will still frequent here, just not as much as I used to.

I used to go here all the time before new management. I still like the environment but seems more pricey and I have a gift card for $50 and was told it cannot be used any longer when I went in to paint. They said old management put something out about gift cards needing to be used by a certain point but I never got anything about it. It’s just disappointing, my friends and I had been going there for a long time and I was saving the gift card for a special day. I would have used it if I would have known. Guess we will be going to crafty shack instead now.

Me and my family been coming here for a couple years and never once had a bad experience. We also hosted a birthday party here for our daughter. If you want a family outing or even a date night. Go here show these lovley ladies love! You will love it.

Just stopped in as new ownership took over. The new owner Zoe is doing an incredible job with staff, updates, and literally everything. Definitely my go-to coffee shop around ? Will be back!

Really nice little business! If you go, you won’t regret it. They’ve got a pretty wide range of things you can paint, so no matter what, you’ll find something useful or incredibly creative to paint and pick up in a few weeks. I know I’ll be coming back again when I get the time and feel the itch to paint again! Make sure to remember they won’t call you when your pottery is done, though - you have to call yourself and ask about the status. They hold pottery for a pretty reasonable amount of time, which is really helpful if you don’t live immediately nearby.

Unfortunately, I have to edit my review to give them one star. They are constantly changing their hours and days open, and even when I make a special trip just for their coffee, they're closed for some reason or another. I have been here EIGHT times and every time, they're closed. I'm sorry, but I can't encourage anyone to go to a store that is never open.Very friendly staff and very accommodating of dietary restrictions. This place also uses only the highest quality coffee beans and has the best coffee I've ever tasted. 10/10, already recommend it to anyone and everyone I know.

We come regularly to paint pottery. The staff is always very kind and accommodating. The coffee and muffins are always good, but we do miss the breakfast sandwiches they used to serve! I recommend making a reservation online if you would like to paint pottery.

Going in and actually painting was fine but trying to figure out when our items were ready to be picked up was hell. You guys should go back to calling people when their stuff is ready because everytime I call your shop, nobody answers the phone. I live kind of far from this place and don't want to drive all the way out just to be told it's not done yet. Either call people when the stuff is done or hire people who will actually answer the phone.

Favorite place to get coffee! The atmosphere is calm & comfortable, the staff is so friendly & personable, and the coffee is made very well!

The go to spot for those that are looking to enjoy the neighborhood coffee shop feel that Murrysville has for so long lacked.

Have been to brushes and beans many times. Best coffee ever!! Also I have painted a few things and I am not very crafty however no matter how busy they are, they are very helpful and attentive, making sure I always have enough paint, and help with matching colors.
