We bought a shark cake for our daughter's 3rd birthday. Tasty Bakery went above our expectations. People came over to the table to take pictures because this cake was amazing. Cake Tasting was definitely such a fun part of wedding planning! We tried out 5 local bakeries in the Pittsburgh area- I was born for that day! lol However, Tasty Bakery was by far our number one choice. We had so much fun at the cake tasting and each cake pairing we tried was delicious! My husband and I were able to proceed with the tasting alone that way we could share our thoughts and ideas, then when we were finished, Amanda sat with us and gave us the run down of all the information and pricing. She was very nice and easy to chat with. Leading up to the wedding, she was very helpful with picking a design and cake stand.We ended up choosing almond batter and raspberry filling for our wedding cake. Omg it was SOOOOOOOO good (I legit can’t wait for our 1 year anniversary to eat it again). AS we all know, not everyone eats cake at a wedding but we received a crazy amount of compliments on how delicious it was.Our venue accidentally tossed out our top tier due to us forgetting to take it that next day and then unfortunately an audit. Love love love my wedding cake! It was perfect and everything we wanted! I feel like a lot of people have pretty cakes but they don’t taste amazing. This isn’t the case with Tasty Bakery! The cakes are beautiful and out of this world annnnnd also taste amazing! 10000/10. They have so many different flavors and fillings to choose from. They let us choose two different flavors for our 3 tier cake at no additional charge! Can’t wait for a future reason to order another cake from Tasty Bakery!

Oh I wish I could give Amanda, Beverly and the entire Tasty Bakery team 20 stars. This was one of my FAVORITE parts of our wedding- our BEAUTIFUL, perfect cake! First and foremost, I am still having guests commenting about how amazing the cake tasted-- but presentation alone!Something so special to both my husband and I is our three precious animals. I asked Amanda for a little figurine of the three of them at the bottom of the cake and they couldn't have done this any better!The entire process with Tasty Bakery was so easy and so fun. They had reasonable prices for such FABULOUS cake and were very willing to work with my requests and create exactly what i was looking for! They do to-go taste testing which was perfect for my husband and I and our wedding cake turned out wonderful, which of course we weren’t surprised!

We had a great experience using Tasty Bakery for our wedding cake! The communication was fast and efficient, the tasting was very professional and in such a cute setting at their bakery! We had time to try each flavor and not feel rushed to decide right away. I showed them a photo I found on pinterest and they did the exact thing I wanted! I also loved that the 4 tier cake was "styrofoam" other than a little section where we cut, and then there was sheet cake in the back for our vendor to cut!

Our cake was beautiful, delicious and exactly what we hoped for. We were looking for something a little lighter than what we've seen at other weddings in the past. Our first thought was something along the lines of an Angel food cake, and while Tasty Bakery wasn't able to provide that type of cake for us, they were able to suggest other options that they did have that worked just as well if not better. Our cake was light, summery, fruity and not overpowering in the least. If i could eat one thing every day for the rest of my days it would be that cake! Kept seeing this business on social media. They make over the top cakes. They don't have a traditional storefront. No bagels, bread, or cookies. They just make custom cakes.I emailed them a picture of a cake. Through email, I ordered the cake. I received a contract regarding payment and pick up. Today, I picked the cake up. It is almond cake, raspberry filling, and butter cream icing. The sheets of music are Happy Birthday. The birthday girl plays a flute in an adult band. She loved the cake. Everyone at the restaurant was craning their necks to get a look at the cake (and hoped for an offer of a slice).The cake was moist, generous raspberry filling, and not overly sweet icing. Yum!
