I wanted to like this place. I love the weekend hours.
I found it to have mixed messaging and no prices! There was a sign on the counter that said kitchen closed but people ordered crepes after me. I was unsure if it was a breakfast spot with full table service vs bar ordering.
I ordered a plain latte. Now having read some reviews that seems to be a sore spot for the owner. I wasn't allowed to order that so I ended up with a plain cappuccino. I am not a fan of so much foam.
Please consider:
-Menus with pricing
-Consistent signage so the customer knows what to do
-Louder music: I felt like I was in someone's conversation and I was trying to do my own work
-Unlocked bathroom or be available so patrons can ask for a key.
-Reframing how you instruct patrons on ordering
- Hire a HS kid to do customer facing so you focus on the back of house, chit chat with customers, and they field all the orders.
You don't need to belittle other companies to promote yourself.

Well I tried to post about my experience and Google decided to delete my review, but it was such a bad encounter that I feel the need to post another one to warn other not to visit this place.
My fiancé and I decided to stop in the other week, and I tried to order a plain latte. I don't order sugary drinks because of the extra sugar, but the owner took my order as an offense and went on a SUPER condescending tirade about Taylor Swift, "caramel drizzle insulin resisting coffee", and how his coffee is so superb because it's imported from Italy and how all the coffee shops around here are just "8 ounces of watered down coffee." The fact that I was treated like a heathen for trying to order a basic plain latte had me floored.
My fiancé ended up getting a drink, and it definitely didn't taste good enough to warrant the owner's ranting and raving about his "sophisticated" Italian coffee.

Chris has done a phenomenal job bringing the authentic flavors of Italy and France to Myerstown, PA. I genuinely couldn't believe that such a high quality crepe could exist on this side of the pond! All ingredients are sourced as high quality as can be.
My wife and I were on a road trip from PA up to NH and luckily stumbled past this cafe on our drive. We had just missed the back patio being open during Memorial Day (hope the weather worked out, dude.) We will definitely be back.
All I can say is: check your ego at the door, even if you already know what a true macchiato is. ? Enjoy the experience that is being curated for you, and understand that many Americans don't know what true espresso drinks are hence the spiel that some people might complain about.
Finally, good things take TIME ... so don't be in a rush.
Vegetarian options: The fully loaded vegetarian crepe is all you need to know.
Parking: Parked right outside on the street, but there is also a free parking lot on the other side of 501 with eight business parking spots.

Excellent coffee!
I was there for the first time with a group of friends. We were all treated poorly and even offensively. For starters, the cashier/server didn’t greet us at all. After she took our order of drinks, she came to our table to offer water, which I accepted politely. A long time later, while still waiting for our drinks, the barista/cook came out and yelled at us from behind the counter: “So, are you going to order anything or just came in here to drink water?” We were all shocked by his rudeness. We simply replied that we had already placed our order of drinks. Then he started preparing and bringing them to the table one by one. When he got to one of my friends’ order, he came to the table to ask her, and I quote: “Do you know what a macchiato is? It’s not the kind they have at Dunkin Donuts.” To this, he followed to explain what a real macchiato was and told my friend that that was what she was getting. My friend, very politely replied: “I know what a macchiato is, I’ve had it before many times.”This man just saw a bunch of latino women visiting his snobby cafe and assumed we were neophytes that just came out of jumping the boarder! Not all latinos are the same! In our case, we are all professional, smart women that speak more than 3 languages, including Chinese mandarin, and have traveled around the world visiting many countries in Europe and Asia. I, personally, am an agricultural engineer specialized in coffee production, and come from a family of coffee farmers. I know what real coffee is because I have tasted and tested the best coffees in the world! Sadly, I didn’t have the opportunity to try his coffee and see how good it was, if any, because he skipped my order. In life, assumptions kill.

The owner of this restaurant is very nasty and doesn’t like anyone in there past 3pm even tho it closes at 5. Food also tasted horrible.

I come here a lot & no one should expect to be waited on. Its a cafe; just belly up to the bar & ask for what you want! I read a bad review so I'm just disputing it/ go check it out 4 yourself!

Defiantly one of the worst coffee shops ive been too. Im new to the area, and decided to try out a new coffee shop. I waited a total of 20 minutes until the worker even said a word to me and paid attention as to why i was there. Once he did, he went off on a whole lecture on why the drink i wanted was incorrect and i shouldn't've ordered that. Then told me what i should order. Then also continued to go on about how any other coffee shops around are not good because Americans dont know why their even drinking coffee. Would have much rather went somewhere else for a better experience because overall this was not a good one. Highly suggest you go somewhere else.I never leave reviews, but i felt i needed to warn people about this place. Overall a very rude and unprofessional person.

Great coffee and a welcoming environment. A perfect combination. Chris may seem a bit coarse initially, but he is very passionate about what he does. A true connoisseur of coffee. Definitely stop in here if you are in the area.
