Came here for a quick bite. During a break between travel baseball double hitter. Close to Myerstown Pa. West Park Baseball field. Food was delicious. Big portions. Great price for the amount of food received. Service was also great. I had the Henny-Penny- Fried Chicken. 3 piece, white meat fried chicken + 2 sides(Fries & corn). I couldn't eat all of it, I tried. Lol. My wife & son had Broiled Shrimp, 1 was butter & paprika flavored, 2 was Cajun seasoning with fries & side salad. Large portions. Also delicious... If your in Myerstown Pa at the baseball field, take the trip and eat here.

Not so pleasant experience. Waitress seemed very unpleasant to us and the food wasn't that great. We dined hear in the past and it was a much better place to eat a few years back. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

A friend and I were out touring a shingle plant with a group and the rep took us here for lunch. I wasn't happy with the burger or the soggy fries and my friend learned the hard way never to order a cheesesteak any further west than Chester County from Philly. He couldn't stomach more than a few bites. I always cook my burgers so they're pink and juicy inside but fully cooked, this one was so dry and overcooked it could have been jerky.

We recently celebrated an 80th birthday at Country Fare and it couldn’t have been easier. Reservations for our large party were made a few weeks ahead of time, and the person who took our reservations also took an order for a sheet cake to be served when our lunch was finished. On the day of the event, we were set up in a private room and the waitresses assigned to our party were friendly and attentive. When everyone had finished their lunch, the waitresses brought the cake to our table, complete with candles. Thank you to the staff at Country Fare making this family event special as well as easy to arrange.

Everything was mediocre, nothing special about it. I'm in my mid 40's and I felt like the youngest person there. No offense to anyone just seems like a place for elderly people to enjoy more which is fine.

Food is quite good, traditional home meal type.You couldn't ask for better service, anyone who had helped me was more than kind. Even had some wonderful conversation with a few people who work there.Atmosphere wasn't bad, just wasn't well lit and had bland decoration.

This restaurant use to serve quality food but it's just not there anymore . Nothing tastes the same and the salads are now made with just head lettuce . Its really unfortunate because this use to be a favorite place to go for a good meal at a good price. The prices have gone up but the quality is no longer there to justify it.
