“This restaurant is an area landmark for a unique sweet pizza. It has been in Hanover Section of Nanticoke for decades and is still very popular. The pizza pies are smaller than other places, but they've always been that size. The prices are reasonable compared to other places, and the pizza has its own taste. It is always served hot and quick. The inside has a bar in addition to a dining area. You can also order for take out. It is worth trying if you've never had it to see if you like the unique pizza style served at Ruby's. There is plenty of parking and they DON'T deliver.“

“We went the R Bar and Grill for the first time yesterday after hearing rave reviews about their wings at the Bloomsburg Fair. Well let me tell you the restaurant did not disappoint! the wings were incredible, nice and crispy and plenty of sauce! my husband got a burger and was impressed as well, he said it was flavorful and juicy throughout and the toppings were generous and delicious. We will definitely be back and highly recommend😍“

“Had our daughters Sweet 16 party here with about 70 people, a DJ and lots of younger kids. This place is the PERFECT place to host any party! We were all impressed with this venue. There is enough space to dance and have a DJ but a place on the other side to relax play pool/fooseball and just hang out if the music is too much for guests. The staff there helped carry things in and had the whole place set up ready to be decorated! Also, everyone knows the worst part of any event is the clean up. Well, Broadway Tavern told us to take what we wanted and leave the rest up to them!!!!! I will definitely be using this place in the future!! HIGHLY recommend!!!“

“Listen y’all, you shouldn’t even be able to get a seat in here on a weekend without a reservation because the food is that good! I knew when I took a bite of my asparagus and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned that the steak was going to be good and it may have been the best steak I’ve eaten at a restaurant. Seriously all three of us got steak and thought every bite of our meals were perfect and it was priced pretty darn good, certainly not outrageous. Service was great as well.“

“It has a dive bar vibe with a huge bar area surrounded by some tables. It gets pretty busy at night. We didn't eat, but the pizza and wings looked good.

It seems like a great spot for drinks with friends or if you enjoy pulling up a few seats at the bar and people-watching.“

Yesterday we tried to sit outside on a beautiful afternoon however, we were disturbed by an individual with an amplifier and a microphone, professing religion, and the Bible to the point where his volume was disruptive to our meal. Employee of Franklin indicated that he’s been told about this before. Call the mayor’s office. His secretary says it’s permissible and that if it bothers me for me to call 911 for the police to handle. Spent a lot of money between drinks and dinner there not happy at all. Wilkes-Barre‘s administration want people to come downtown and patronize businesses. I’m not gonna go down there if I’m gonna have to listen to that for two hours.“

“Small bar and restaurant with a pool table. We ordered fresh cut fries with cheese and bacon (real bacon, not real cheese) and wings. I ordered the house special sauce, a mix of wing sauce, bbq and parm cheese. It was not the best. The bites were good otherwise. Not too bad price-wise.“

“Prices were a little high compared to most smaller bars I’ve been at. Bartender was a bit slower than I’m used to for service but she was super sweet. Good variety of Skill Machines and redemption machine, which was nice. Street parking only, little hard to find a spot. Pool table could be kept up a bit better but it was alright.“

“It's not the Nicest Place, but its never overcrowded & the prices are not that bad if you know how to find it in the BoonDocks! I'd recommend hanging out there. There is plenty of off street parking across the street. (Thats the one complaint, the owner is obsessed with having people towed from "his parking lot" god forbid should you not want to drive drunk. Or should a neighbor park there for a little bit, when a bar with happy neighbors means having a good eye kept on place for breakins in the bar and customers cars instead of pissing off neighbors who may say oh well not my problem!)“

“Getting hoagies from III Guys is CONSISTENTLY hit or miss. Now it's constantly a *miss* so we're done spending money here. I got a turkey hoagie today and there was barely anything on it! 😠 A regular sandwich is thicker! Two slices of turkey, a tiny bit of lettuce, some onions and a couple tomato slices! Oh and it was DRY! We paid for mostly BREAD! Feels awesome to be shafted for what you paid for. I had to put my own Mayo on it, add lettuce and add tomato to fill it! That's NOT the point of take out. Food quality is going DOWN last few years. ((See comments for pics of this sad hoagie)) We're done giving them the benefit of the doubt. The other hoagie we bought was also lacking & dry. “Was here the other year with my girlfriend on a random road trip. We did some bar hopping and came here on our travels. Cool little spot, the bartender was very nice and the bar patrons were hilarious. I came away with some money gambling on the one machine that helped out with our bar hopping adventures LOL for not being from the are we were treated like one of the regulars“

Aside from large events, there is always a place to sit and relax. Lisa is by far my favorite bartender. She always brings a smile to my face when I know she’s working. Plenty of parking downtown and close to public transportation if needed.“
