I was really looking forward to a good pork bbq sandwich. I ordered one for me and a pork bbq and also a beef bbq for my husband. All 3 sandwiches were bone dry! I just always assumed a bbq would have bbq sauce on it. I heard so much about their delicious secret sauce, well it would be nice if they actually put it on the sandwiches! What a waste of money.
My family has enjoyed BBQ from Stookeys for over 50 yrs. Any bad reviews surprised me as I've always encountered friendly servers,great food with generous portions and decent prices. In my opinion sour attitudes follow sour customers.
Food was horrible. Leftovers.. I Had the Kabasa sandwich and turkey sandwich both tasted dry and old. Buns were good. Wife had the chicken (worst I’ve ever had)and ribs . Chicken was horrible looked like leftover that they heated up from week before they poured bbq sauce over it and ribs were Fatty and had tendons. No meat on the bone. Big let down. Place looks great with heritage.
Beans are amazing great prices if food was on point.
