Long line each time but it's because they offer great treats at great prices! Our family has a hard time not ordering a side of fries with our icecream because it always smells so delightful while we're waiting! Its a tradition to stop anytime we're in the area.

Unfortunately, they added grilled onions even after requesting no mushrooms or onions on my burger. Maybe next time I can actually try the gypsy burger, sounds delicious! But let me tell ya, the salad! Holy smoke! Half salad, good gravy, it's enormous! So much cheese, the dressing was great & everything was so fresh. Delicious! My friend Lynea is responsible, I surely owe her one, so freaking good! Great prices, great food, my luck just sucks being picky with my orders. They were super busy, it was memorial day weekend. We will definitely be back. Hubby's food was superb btw, fries are fantastic! Huge amount too! Already thinking about my next order...

We stopped and ordered on our way back from Pittsburgh. Prices seemed about right for an ice cream drive-in restaurant. As we waited for our order, people were getting ice cream of various types. You could definitely pick out the locals from the travelers, because all the travelers got a surprised smile on their face when they saw how big their ice cream was. I am a big eater. I ordered a Rueben Philly and a side of assorted deep fried veggies. When the food was ready, we were in shock at the HUGE portion size. My wife tried a few of the deep fried veggies from my order. I ate the remainder of the deep fried veggies, and I was full. We took the Rueben Philly home. I ate it for lunch today, and I can honestly say it was the most filling hoagie/sub I have ever eaten. I could barely finish it. I have never seen any restaurant anywhere with a menu this large. The menu boards fill the front of the building. The food was delicious. The portions were far beyond expectations. The price was beyond fair. The staff were all friendly and willing to offer suggestions when asked. Sweet Delights is highly recommended. Stop if you are passing through the area. You will be happy you did. We will probably stop on many of our trips to Pittsburgh from now on.
Sweet Delights was a true "Sweet Delight" - the owner Penny was a delight to talk with and her Philly Cheese steak was the best I have ever had. The fish sandwich was fried just right & was tasty - my picky eater couldn't say enough good things about it. The fries and the fried mushrooms were awesome. And let's talk about the prices - you can't beat how inexpensive it was to eat there. Highly recommended!!! Don't miss out on the ice cream either.
