Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe is an absolute legend! Since 1959, they've been serving up hot dogs with a consistency in quality and taste that's simply unmatched. I've been coming here since I was a kid, and it's truly remarkable how every bite takes me back. Their chili is phenomenal ā it pairs perfectly with that incredible cheese sauce. And don't even get me started on their pasta chili; it's a must-try! The thin-cut fries are always fresh and crispy. While they're famous for their dogs and chili cheese, do yourself a favor and try a griddled burger ā pure delight! And don't forget, Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe also serves breakfast! Their giant, delicious pancakes are a must-try, and they offer a fantastic variety of omelettes to choose from. Plus, their themed cups are a local staple ā you can't open a cupboard in town without seeing one. And for some reason, their Mountain Dew just hits different! Brighton Hot Dog Shoppe isn't just a restaurant; it's a piece of local history.

Went there the other night and was totally impressed by the manager as he encouraged and complimented his employees on doing a good job and providing great service. This is a terrific manager that truly knows how to motivate!! Well done.

For a hot dog, hamburger & french fries joint, this is the best. Not fancy āā at all. But unique... think 1950s/1960s diner. Fast service. polite & friendly employees. You don't have to wait 10 years to get a tasty, filling lunch at a extremely reasonable price & you want to come back again. It's a blue-collar tradesman's lunch haven. 5 stars overall.

It's one of my favorite places to dine at in New Brighton. The service is nice, and the atmosphere is wonderful. It's a classic sit-down diner with classic American staples.

So tonight 1-18-25 my husband and i were there first ones in there no one else had ordered. 15 people had come in after us and all 15 people got their orders except us after that i went and asked where our order was? They never gave them to the cook no remorse no apology absolutely horrendous when i said that this was uncalled for the young guy up front started talking shit that i complained. Iām sorry Iām a manager in the food industry too and never would i allow such behavior. I will never return to this location absolutely horrendous disgusting behavior. No apology no nothing. Never again and not to mention the back fryers are filthy

It was absolutely amazing. I had my three year old son for a mommy son lunch date. He's a handful at restaurants bc he's not use to bigger crowds so he's restless. He ordered two hotdogs and pancake and I got a cheeseburger burger with cheese fries. My server was Shaylor and let tell you that girl is top notch. She helped me with my child and kept him occupied and even cleaned up his mess of syrup so I could eat with him. We will absolutely be back bc of her excellent service and how great the food was.
