A family favorite in the area. I grew up going to hanks for custard. Took my wife there for dates. Took my kids there raising them. Now they take their significant others there as well. Delicious frozen custard and a great food menu of Mexican style food and much more. Long lines a lot of the time but I think it’s worth it. Buffalo chicken pita and a banana split is a favorite choice.
I think the reason behind some negative reviews is people did not know what Hank is about ! It’s casual. There is no bathroom, no indoor sitting. You can not really pick the toppings of your taco, it’s either soft shell or hard shell with meat or beans.Yes the line can be long. But ITS ABOUT EXPERIENCE! :)The whole thing is a nice experience. I lived in Texas several years and yes this is what taco is. Taco is simple.I honestly did not find employees rude also. We got a couple of tacos and custards. Everything delicious. This is not the place to order a complicated thing. And this is not the place to expect complicated service also. If you come with right expectations, you gonna enjoy it.

The girl who got the Harry Potter looking glasses is ignorant as hell. Like be for real. it's your job to take orders the correct way and if you make a mistake and get called out on it then it’s also your job to fix it and not catch an attitude. It’s not my fault that I give you my order and you tell me to look at the screen to make sure everything is correct but when the order comes it’s wrong. Don’t no one got time to look at a screen with small words to figure out if everything is right…… how hard is it to read back an order!!!!! Then when you was confronted that it was wrong you catch an attitude like you didn’t wanna fix your wrong so the manger had to take over .. then I see that once of my ice creams was wrong.I’m also not gonna forget about to redhead girl that fixed my order but still slammed the window after giving me my order with an attitude like the convo / situation had anything to do with her …So the only one who gets credit is the manager and Jessica S.

Fabulous white house cherry custard. Bought 2 quarts to take home
I’ve tried to come here for those amazing tacos twice this year but I don’t have all day to wait in line, waited in line for 8 minutes today and it didn’t budge, 6 people ahead of me and how does it take 8 minutes to (not) wait on the same person? Guess I’ll try again next month. Place seems to have gone downhill a bit after not being here for a few years. Prices have gone up a lot too.
