My friend and I had breakfast there on Tuesday, July 22nd, and while my cinnamon french toast was great, his sausage gravy bowl was not very good. He said that the sausage gravy tasted like it came from a can. When the restaurant was called "Shoo Shoo's, the sausage gravy was excellent and that's why he ordered it, but he was quite dissapointed by what he received on that day. Perhaps the new owner needs to utilize the old recipes to keep his loyal customers happy....
This place is definitely my favorite place as well as my Mom's and niece. If you are from New Brighton,PA or just passing through, be sure to stop in and have the best breakfast you have ever had. You won't regret it!
Quite good Food was fresh and has a fair portions size but not too much. The Fried chicken scrambler w sausage gravy is a great dish. Will definitely be returning and hopefully on a Saturday when there’s butterscotch Bundt cakes!
