I always put dead lightning on my stop list when I come to the Harrisburg area from Pittsburgh. Kyler and the drinks she make are top tier! Always make the dead lightning experience one of a kind, and always a blast! Ps: she pays attention to her customers and has an amazing memory!

Super chill vibes. Dark, homey atmosphere with some tvs and music playing. The drinks are good and the staff is cool. Love stopping for a quick drink while I wait for my family to get ice cream!

Well I’ve been a Head for decades since the 80s seen shows all over US lived Family members in Oregon n California, we danced , we ate, we burned, we explored our minds, made peace n love with each other. Never in my travels did I ever see a pack of true Dead Heads in a bar drinking. I could count on my hands the number of heads that drank in any capacity. I’d say 80-90% don’t, at most you may see DH at wineries with craft wines n food. Second there’s no food that Heads would really be into, No vegan, no vegetarian, no raw foods. The lack of menu options in general make this specifically a bar, and not a bar for that demographic to eat anything in so that also will alienate most true DH, bar drinking isn’t our scene period. So from the perspective of finding like minded individuals from a DH view, this place will make you scratch your head as to what it has to do with the Dead. So 1 star because it’s clearly just a dive bar outside of Harrisburg with some SYF posters. If Someone tried this with appropriate materials people would come from all over. Missed the mark

What an amazing place! We have been customers from almost opening and you can’t find a better place to grab a drink! The bartenders are all fantastic and the owner an amazing woman who always welcomes us like family! With two upstairs bars, a small deck, and now a downstairs bar and music venue, you’ll be mad if you do t take the time to experience this wonderful place in the heart of New Cumberland!

Amazing distillery, lots to try and if you’re a whiskey drinker like I am they have a ton of flavors They offer tequila , vodka and gin as well my wife is usually repulsed by whiskey but loves these flavors especially the peanut butter one Give this place a try if you’re in the area we are from NJ (about a 2 hour ride ) and can’t wait to go back

These were the best drinks I’ve ever had and the bartender was soo sweet. Drinking usually makes me anxious or just not feel good but these drinks are SO smooth and well-made. The vibe here is awesome too and everyone is so nice!

While the drinks may be good, the service and attitude of the staff was unacceptable. We had a table of 10 and all of us were treated very rudely by the bartender and the bouncer/server.
We chose to sit at the outside seating. The furniture and tables were extremely dirty.
I speak for all 10 of us that we will never be back at this establishment and highly encourage anyone reading this to do the same.
If I could give this place a negative rating I would.
