This place was a real find. The outside of the building is modest, but the food is spectacular. We had terrific service also. The onion soup was outstanding. Amongst the best we have ever had. My wife had the crab cake and I had the chef's salad. The salad was HUGE and very fresh and very tasty. My wife said the crab cake was excellent. The desserts sounded wonderful, but we had to pass because we're both full

If you were a "local", you got seated first. Hostess was not friendly, if she didn't know you. Our waitress was wonderful. People said to order the crabcake, so I did , it was ok, not great. A lot of filler. The fish sandwich was good. Owner walked around asking how your meal was, that was nice, and he was very friendly. Is not a place, I'd do dinner again, but for lunch, I'd stop in

Unbelievable good food at great prices! Great prime rib in a huge slab - get it while it lasts! Meatloaf is a customer favorite, and they have big lump crab cakes and lobster rolls too, as well as burgers and salads and so on. The best liver and onions I've ever had in my long life. A pitcher of Yuengling lager for ten bucks, or about two fifty a pint, and that's the regular price. Comfy booths and not too loud even on a crowded Saturday night. If you want to treat and come off like a hero without going broke, this is the place to take your family and friends!

We had mozzarella sticks, mussels and house made chili for appetizers. All were ?. We also got to go the 1/2 rack of ribs....DELICIOUS! The sides were their spaghetti with Sunday gravy meat sauce...YUM! We also got for the second side their house coleslaw which was also delicious. I would have liked a little more sugar in it, but all the other food was great. My husband got the liver and onions, mashed potatoes and broccoli. He didn't speak so that's a sign it was delicious as well! Erica was our server and she was fantastic!!! Great local spot!

Large restaurant with very kind staff. We got the hot roast beef sandwich and the hot turkey sandwich, both with gravy. The gravy was odd, and pretty salty. The meat on both was great though! I would make sure get something that says homemade under it. The French fries are awesome.

Parking: Plenty of spots to park around downtown that are within a 5 minute walk. Street parking too.
