Oxford Hall Celtic Shop is a wonderful store, filled with Celtic merchandise of many countries (Ireland, Scotland, Wales, etc), as well as great food, and even appropriate gifts for Catholic families! Plus, the staff are very friendly and helpful!
Loved it!!!
Always accommodating and welcoming. I have yet to have an unpleasant visit here! Make sure to order before arriving to give the chef ample time to cook for you, its worth every penny!
I’ve visited the store three times over the past year and enjoy every visit. I’ve purchased everything from socks, candy, soap, jewelry, and trinkets. This past week, I picked up a few bags of loose tea for my Mothers Day lunch for the ladies in my family. After a little guidance from the shop owner, I made a successful 6 pots of amazing tea! I can’t wait to visit the cafe soon for tea and lunch. Oh, and the top 3 teas were: Back Porch, Spiced Orange and Lemon Curd.
I came here on a whim because how cool the place looked from the outside , once inside I was amazed by all the imports from various countries at very reasonable prices. You won't be let down when you do business with Oxford hall Celtic shop and cafe ,they have gifts for all ranges , not to mention the cozy cafe they have with very friendly staff and delicious coffee! I decided to buy a few gifts and to try candies and some sodas I haven't seen anywhere else. I decided to come back after my pleasant experience and ordered a Celtic knot band handcrafted from Ireland. Waiting for the order and to do more business in the future! If you're ever in the New Cumberland and Lemoyne area you should definitely stop in and see for yourself!
P.s. Thank you guys for being so cool and super friendly!!! 5 stars anytime
Great selection of teas and everything Celtic. Their meat pies are delicious.
Amazing people, and quality imported Irish/British products. Ive been coming here for years, and I don't ever plan on stopping. Great tea selection, a quaint cafe with great coffee and Guinness brownies. This place is a Real hidden gem.
This is THE place for folks desiring British and Irish imports. The variety and quality of authentic imports is unbelievable and quite reasonably priced. Will certainly be returning soon.
This place is full of good surprises. It is not your typical knick knack shop. All items are of excellent quality and while there is a lot of stuff from Ireland, Scotland and the UK are represented too. For example, there is a large variety of Mcvitie's Digestive Biscuits as well as special mustard blends from Ireland. There's a huge selection of loose tea, wool hats, luxuriously thick flannel shirts, tea pots, whisky flasks, specialty glassware... each room is a unique experience. Excellent raspberry tarts and coffee in the cozy cafe.
Amazing British food selection and Amazing Irish clothing plus Irish items.

What a great shop!! Will be going back for gifts in the future!! The selection of baptism and confirmation outfits were amazing!
Delicious and the price was very low
Ultimately, this was a very good experience. The store was nice and had good prices. The food was excellent (afternoon tea, meat pies, sausage roll, scones, scotch egg) and was enough to fill all six of us. The folks were friendly too. There were two things that took one star away. First, when we arrived, some of the workers were not entirely friendly, almost like the six of us were a burden. They eventually warmed up to us (or maybe we just caught them at a bad moment?) The other thing was the wait, especially since we had 1:00 reservations, arrived at 12:50, and started getting some of our food at 2:10. To be fair, they DO warn of that in their website and it was lovely to walk around the store while waiting. Still, this could be an area of improvement.
We had an AMAZING Full English breakfast! One of the best black puddings cooked to perfection, well portioned out other ingredients. The portion sizes are smaller than you typically find in England but that's to be expected given the availability of decent ingredients. Chef definitely does it justice! Well worth ordering ahead so everything is cooked to perfection as well. We also appreciated the locally made oat bread to accompany it and ended up buying a loaf afterwards. A great place to support many locals in the community while getting a delicious meal.
I wanted to like this cafe so bad so I could tell my family from out of town about their afternoon tea and shop but the only friendly person was the man at the front register. Unfriendly is a pleasant way to put the woman who spoke to me about my coffee order. When I asked a question about a latte she shot me a nasty look and copped an attitude and began to speak to me like I was an absolute idiot. She was so unwelcoming I wanted to just say forget the latte and walk out (which btw I was ready to drop more money and order breakfast and eat there but not after that interaction). For a family run business she should be ashamed for speaking to people that way and treating them with such a cold, unwelcoming demeanor. Severely disappointed and would not recommend to go there
