I really like this place.Good food and nice people.They also make excellent drinks.On the weekends usually live music.

I ordered a steak salad. Steak was cold, like straight out of the refrigerator cold, and the fries were cold. My daughter ordered a chicken salad, same deal. My grandsons chicken fingers were way overcooked. We were the only customers in the place at 1pm on a Saturday. I say this because its not like the kitchen was rushing our food because the place was packed or something.
The view was pretty.

The restaurant we wanted to go to was closed so we went here after searching on Google at the last minute. The restaurant is totally cute and on the water which is a treat and hard to find. Our server was attentive and kind. The wings were really crispy which was nice but the sauce we got, garlic parm, tasted like nothing and was oily. The Flatbread was also bland, the crust was like a bad gluten free crust but it wasn't gluten free. We loved the vibe but not the food. Would probably go there again for a drink and their fresh fried potato chips and the ambiance, but not for dinner...

I went to hang out with so my old crew from a past job,and even put in my application for cook,was given a tour of the kitchen, equipment, freezer, refrigerator,cold bar,grills,fryers, everything was dated, labeled,and very clean,and I enjoy working in a clean kitchen,ask any of my crew that worked with me.. the servers were great and on point,and the set up and atmosphere was very enjoyable,live music and karaoke on certain days, I think everyone should go see what it's like,you won't be disappointed..

My husband and I absolutely love this place! Friendly service, tasty drinks and the atmosphere is amazing! Their loaded deck fries are delicious!

Food is hit or miss, I’ve had a great hamburger here then came back a couple weeks later and it’s burnt. Always new servers but very convenient spot to have a drink when boating on the river.

The bartender was great, ordered an app of stuffed peppers that was better than I expected. Nice staff. Will be back if I'm in the area.

Rosie's Anchor Bar & Grille is out of the way but well worth the effort. To get there, you have to go down a side street from Rt 88, cross double RR tracks (be careful; trains use these tracks), turn right on a rutted road and follow the signs to Rosie's.
The restaurant had an inside and outside section. If you sit outside, on the porch, you have a great view of the Monongahela River. I sat inside for the air conditioning.
The server recommended the reuben, and I'm glad she did! It was easily one of the best reubens I've ever had: juicy and loaded with corned beef. It comes with chips, but I ordered the beer batter fries instead. They were very good.
An added feature on a Sunday afternoon was live music. The singer, Hailey sang light pop songs. She had a great voice.
Even though it wasn't crowded, the service was a bit slow and sporadic.
All in all though, eating here was a good experience!

Came to visit from Florida. The food was ok… but after waiting thirty minutes for it, they came out and told us they were out of hotdogs (that my son ordered,) so it took another 10 minutes for him to get something different. The atmosphere is wonderful, though.
