Jillian’s was so special, 10/10 would recommend taking your best girlies for fine wine and dining through the whole evening

What a beautiful place to have dinner. The setting, and ALL the people who work here are amazing. We are still talking about our meal, and the presentation of all the food we had. Jillian stops by each table to talk about all the dinners they have for the evening, and see if you have questions.
The waitress even helps you make a wine and drink selection that is on the menu. She was right on with what our wine palette was looking for. To end our special evening we were asked if we would like to meet the chef. We were escorted to the kitchen to meet Phil. What a treasure he was.
This restaurant is a must to have a special evening out, and to enjoy an amazing meal.

Bizarre experience. I entered 5:45 on Saturday and went to the bar, where I was the only patron. There was also a 4-top and 2-top, so perhaps 7 people total. The bartender greeted me, handed me a menu and asked whether I wanted tap, still or sparkling water (generally a sign that they expect you to dine). The menu was for drinks, so I ordered one and asked about food. The only menu is on the wall and as I was about to get up, bartender said that generally small plates are served at the bar (my experience is full menu is generally available at the bar these days, but I recall limited menus decades ago). Bartender said she would ask chef and went away. Upon returning, bartender said food would take ~ 90m and then proceeded to run down the small plate options (with one being raw oysters). Based on this, I assumed the wait time would be for the main courses, so I said I would order some small plates.
Bartender then said that she had told me food would take 90m. The comments plus the tone are starting to feel odd, so I asked if I heard correctly - that it would take 90m to get raw oysters?
Bartender replied that most people make reservations and that there were only 4-5 people working. Again, weird, almost passive aggressive vibe, so I commented that, I guess the people making reservations were also putting in their orders at the same time, so that's why they were so busy. Correct?
At this point, I knew I wasn't getting food, so I paid for my cocktail and left. Based on other reviews, other people seem to enjoy the food, but I can't comment one way or the other.
There were a number of ways the experience could have been different. Perhaps the easiest would have been the staff asking if I had reservations and then explaining that, despite the few patrons at the moment, they were fully booked and would not be able to accommodate. That is understandable, even when one walks into a sparsely crowded space. But to act as if they expect me to dine, then playing cat and mouse games rubbed me the wrong way.

We held my father's funeral luncheon here and WOW. Best family style food I've ever had. It started with a greens salad and house made focaccia, then moved to collard greens, roasted chicken, and beef roast. Unreal. Jillian is a treasure and the location is very cute. Definitely can't wait to come back for Thursday oyster night!

Oh. My. God. Listen this place is magical. Jillian is an incredible host, the vibe and everything about the restaurant just felt like home. She sits with you and explains the menu in detail and is simply wonderful.
The mocktails were fantastic. I had a mock mule and my wife had a mock cosmo, which just so happens she completely finished it, which is not typical for her!
We started with the house focaccia, the French onion soup, and the house salad. I’m an onion lover and for whatever reason, I had never had French onion soup before. It was AMAZING! I have been missing out! The bread was so soft and had the right amount of flaky salt on it. We both agreed we could not stop eating the salad, the dressing was incredibly tasty, the beets gave a great earthy note, it was amazing.
We ordered the wagyu surf and turf as well as the 30 day dry aged cowboy ribeye and the truffle fries. Both ribeyes were so tender and different in their own ways. The lobster tail with the caviar and truffles were so soft and perfectly cooked, the caviar added a nice briny flavor to the lobster. We couldn’t pick a favorite steak they each were amazing, the wagyu in the Demi glaze was fantastic as was the pure beefy flavor of the ribeye. The salty fries were soooo good as a side with everything.
This is probably one of our favorite experiences anywhere, we will 100000% go out of our way to be back here.

Our family kicked off the holidays with our first visit here! Absolutely a 10/10. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Lots of pride in the menu and truly wanted us to have a great experience. Menu was certainly crafted with intention and purpose. Every bite of everything was unique and phenomenal. We will def be back!

It was very dark and the music was really loud. I had to listen to the only waitress, the owner, read and explain the menu to every table. It was a bit annoying. She was very friendly and when she showed up at our table, which wasn't often, she was delightful. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to our expectations. Pork completely over and risotto was more like soup. It tasted good but the consistency was definitely off. They were out of a lot. I heard the waitress and bartender come back numerous times to say they were out of an ingredient. Will not be back.
