My wife and I consider ourselves foodies.. We often find ourselves disappointed when visiting restaurants in Pittsburgh.However, this was not the case when visiting Jillians. We were more than impressed. Jillian's can compete with some of the best restaurants in Shadyside and downtown Pittsburgh.The menu was exceptional. The dishes were creative, and the quality of ingredients was impressive. Our server (Jillian) was authentic, pleasant, charming, and informative.It is refreshing to have a dining experience like this.This place is a diamond in the rough.We will be recommending this to our family and friends.Parking: We had no problem parking on a Thursday.

I went to Jillian's last night for the first time and can not wait till I get to go back again! This was, hands down, the best meal I have had since moving to Western Pa about 3 years ago. Good food is important to me, and it is something this area is lacking. Jillian's definitely sets a high standard with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, wonderful staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. Every bite was phenomenal. It's perfect for a night out with girlfriends or a romatic date.

Upscale dining options in AK Valley are in few and far between so Jillians is a pleasant addition and the food is spectacular. Scratch made sauces, cocktails and freshly sourced meats and vegetables. Servers are pleasant and engaging. Bar drink menu while limited is good. Wines are pricey so expect to spend a good bit if you enjoy vino.Jillians is perfect for a special occasion or maybe that rare date night but it can be expensive. The food is worth the price.

Here again to praise this place!!! Absolutely amazing, best restaurant I've ever been to hands down!!! We absolutely love hanging out with Jilian and eating the most incredible food prepared by chef Phil! Tonight we had The wagyu for two and it was served with over a 20oz A5 Australian waygu ribeye with a lobster tail topped with the most amazing cavier, two U8 scallops topped with roe, four jumbo shrimp with shaved truffle all over a beef demi with heart shaped potatoes ? could not have asked for a better or more decadent early Valentine's Day dinner! I had the Trout in broth, my partner got the Chicken, and we shared the mushroom toast. Best trout and chicken and mushrooms we have EVER had.If you're a mushroom lover, they don't get better than this. The varieties switch depending on local supply but when we went we had blue oysters and lion's mane.Some people want power, some people want fame. All I want is Jillian's mushroom toast every day for the rest of my life ?I didn't know how the chicken would be - it's normally not what I would pick when I'm splurging on a night out but it truly was worth every penny - so tender and juicy and complex! That chicken tasted like it had massages and caviar every dayThe trout was an umami bomb and cooked perfectly. The broth takes days to make and you can taste it.The cheesecake and cocktails were fabulous as well!The local ingredients are already high quality, and have more complex flavors than what you can get at a normal restaurant, but these folks also know their stuff and how to make the best dishes possible with them. Knocked it out of the park
It is delightful to have a restaurant of this quality here in New Kensington! The restaurant is beautiful and the food was absolutely amazing! Jillian was so pleasant to talk to, and she made sure we were happy with our meals. We tried a little of everything almost, and nothing was disappointing. I highly recommend trying the homemade bread and dipping oil when you order your meal.

Call for Catering AKA Jillian's was PHENOMENAL!I highly, highly recommend this restaurant.Great relaxing bar and lounge area. Dining room is not large, but it is roomy as the tables are nicely spaced and the room is comfortably "Spartan" in it's decor.Every dish the three of us ordered was fantastic!You gotta go!
