I recently lost my mom and I can admit it hit me a little harder than I thought. Within the first 2-3 days was the hardest. Especially being a mom and grieving. I could barely pull myself together to cook for my family. I was able to feed my family of four at the @knead cafe, not only with the option to pay, but fair priced good food and with a supportive staff crew that entertained my toddlers. They kept my kids laughing while I could sit there, cry, and just have a moment of...
everything about this amazing place is done right. From creating a first class experience for all, keeping delicious food at a reasonable cost for those who pay the full price, while at the same time making room for those who are battling hunger. on top of that, creating room for community service, and for creating opportunities for those in the community to get back. Thank you for all you guys do.
This place has been around for several years now, and it has become a staple in our community. The food is delicious and affordable. The people who volunteer there take so much pride in the mission to provide hunger relief to those in need. The owners put their heart and soul into making a positive impact in our community. Their success has motivated other businesses into becoming part of the redevelopment in New Kensington.
